This is a difficult one, because the really useless ones are quite funny. Alabi, for instance.

Paul Hague made me bloody angry after I stopped the initial laughing, mind.

Both terrible. Would never get in a league one side today.

Kristian O’Leary. Geraint Williams’ ‘mate’. More of a blancmange in shorts than a footballer.

Shwan Jalal - that flap at the long free kick in a vital home game was like a slow motion disaster unfolding before our eyes

James Scowcroft - almost the most tragic attempt at leading the Orient line ever seen until Gianvito Plasmati's halfway line volley that barely even managed to limp out for a goal-kick nearer the corner flag than goal

Honourable mention to Jens Janse, never seen other pros so reluctant to give the ball to one of their colleagues who was trying so hard to be good at his role but failed so miserably.

Was shocking. Arrived with much fanfare, as well, but turned out to be a great big pudding (Scowcroft)

Great shout from Max'y straight off. I'll offer up Peter Garland. Overweight, out of condition, awful.

Vague memory of the name was he Australian played for us in 2002/3 perhaps
If it’s the one I’m thinking of he was on loan for a few weeks and was awful

Garland blimey me, I'd forgot about him. With every Garland there's a Phil Mulryne (hope I spelt it right) i had high Hope's for him, unfortunately the only high he reached when he was with us would have been dinner time and what he whacked down his throat.

Michael marks, signed for £30,000 all those years ago. He makes slowcroft look like Alan shearer.
