It would appear so, some of their fans seem a tad embarrassed by his behaviour.

Re: Forest Green manager
Have a look at Twitter,
It seems Mark Cooper has got ‘fan clubs’ at Lincoln, Tranmere, Newport and Swindon.
It would be interesting to know what he’s done to piss them off.
The frustrating thing is that other than Ross nobody else heard these vile comments, although I totally believe what Ross says as I don’t believe he would invent comments like this.

Re: Forest Green manager
Only one question. Why would Ross lie? No I don’t believe he would. Absolutely no reason to at all. None.
So my opinion, something pretty disgusting was said. Not surprisingly denied, well it would be.

I for one agree with youDisoriented wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 3:51 pmAgree totally. A new manager has to come in now, but does anyone trust Ling to get the right person after the cockups he continually presides over?RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 3:25 pm What's worrying me is this complacency that because only one team goes down this season , we're going to be alright . Well we won't be alright by losing all the time . Sooner or later, we will find ourselves bottom than what . ? I suppose only then will the club do the right thing by bringing in an experienced manager . Why do we have to wait until we're deep in the sh*t before we do that . Why don't we bring in that type of manger now and give him the chance to access and than strengthen our squad in January . It would be nice to give any new manager a decent chance of keeping us up .

Re: Forest Green manager
From someone called footie man on there forum.
During the first half I had a call from a person who I trust implicitly. Being right behind the technical areas the view was clear for him to hear and see what was going on. So well before statements were issued by both clubs this is what I was told, albeit I give it in a paraphrased way to assist brevity.
Leading up to the opening goal the Orient bench were wound up by the ‘constant play acting’ by Adams. Such a good player but why does he do it? Is it a thing he does himself or management induced? Whichever it went down like a sack of spuds and escalated when Adams then scored. The reaction between benches was fairly obvious and resulted in an exchange of words and squaring up. MC was called ‘fat’ and the exchange led to the 4th official being involved and RE took out a piece of chewing gum he was eating and threw it at MC. It missed!
The referee came over and after consulting took the mandatory action under the protocol of technical area behaviour. Had MC been heard to use any language which was inappropriate he would have been dismissed but only received a caution. RE was dismissed because throwing his chewing gum is classed as an immediate dismissal. Like players adopting aggressive attitudes occupants of the technical areas have to control themselves or be ordered to leave.
My contact said to me it was all unnecessary but what happens too often in the modern game where people do not learn to handle emotions.
For what it is worth - MC is not a young fox (Michael) he has been a long serving manager and whilst there is only an allegation of his remark at this stage (if anything worse the 4th Official will report it in the post match submissions) too often MC is at the centre of matters which do him no good. Spats with home fans, spats with match officials both in the technical area and in the field of play, there was the incident with the disabled fan at Cheltenham, the BBC having to shut down a live broadcast due to inappropriate language and now this. It is time he received some PR training to overcome these constant behavioural incidents. But that said it does not prove the allegation being made from yesterday

Re: Forest Green manager
To make an excuse to justify his violent conduct to try and get a lesser punishment from the FA?
No I don’t believe he would. Absolutely no reason to at all. None.

Its amazing how without any real evidence every Orient fan is justifying Ross.
At this stage:
We only have Ross saying that Cooper said this.
Cooper denies saying it
The only independent person who was present says he never heard anything
Hardly the evidence with which to assert anyone said anything with a degree of certainty Just because Ross is Orient (Coach/ manager) doesn't provide any basis that he is right.
On the evidence revealed so far, it is only possible to assert that after FGR scored Ross threw something at Cooper. Why he did that is a matter for speculation
If there is not sufficient evidence to show Cooper said the words alleged, then the FA rightly should do nothing.
Innocent until proven guilty
Lets await the outcome of the investigation before making judgements. If Cooper is found to have said it then he will rightly be punished. Until its proven he did anything wrong he is entitled to the presumption of innocence

But it’s his word against Ross so he will not be found guilty, no further action will be taken.DuvB wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2019 4:36 pm Lets await the outcome of the investigation before making judgements. It will be down to peoples own views as to whether Ross is telling porkies. Me. I believe Ross 100%. That he is making that claim is good enough for me, even though I realise any investigation cannot simply do that

What was Cooper shown a yellow card for?
It could have been for his reaction to the earlier violent conduct by Ross
Its another unknown. Cooper can't have been shown a yellow card for saying the alleged words to Ross as the 4th official has apparently confirmed he never heard that said

Re: Forest Green manager
Not really surprising. The attention of the 4th official was probably elsewhere whilst Ross’s attention was 100% on Cooper. Given a match was in progress the chances of anyone else picking it up are slim.
