For a manager to taunt another manager with such words whilst probably not breaking any law is quite frankly disgusting. If that is the level a manager will sink to,to wind an interim manager up ,who is only in that position because his friend and boss tragically died a few months earlier, then football should hang its collective head in shame.

After some of the absolute class we've seen from Cheltenham, Salford and Newport this season Forest Green Rovers should be hanging their heads in shame tonight. Dive and cheat on the pitch all you want but there's some levels you just don't stoop to.

They probably won't as that seems to be the type of club they are on today's evidence. Fingers crossed their rivals at top of the table do a job on them as the season progresses.

Thanks tent for that post. They would defend themselves, it will be interesting if this gets taken further. RE might be out of his depth as a manager (no.2 I’m ok with), but I don’t believe he’s a liar.

Game still got abandoned & then replayed.

Not saying our thing is anything like that & in no way should we be forced to lose to f.G.R again.

If Cooper did make those remarks then it’s clearly below the belt and uncalled for. However without any corroboration from the match officials we are going down a dead end if the club tries to pursue this officially. After everything else that has gone on recently we don’t really need some kind of a re hash of the Plymouth “ ball boy gate” incident - better just to move on and put it in the memory bank until the next time we play them.
