For all the huff and puff we do look lost . We do need a fresh impetus and new direction , which we should’ve had five weeks ago, but for an awful appointment . We are slipping down and down the league .

Ling has to go and the coaches have only proven good under a proper manager. You either have to find a proper man manager with good leadership skills and then direct the coaches to coach or you start again.

You now need to get your finger in gear and hire a manager or the club need to remove you from your position. You can take your son with you if that happens. Giving him a new contract was nepotism of the highest order especially when he didn't deserve it.

It needs starting again. I'd say we're in such a state right now it needs Travis to appoint someone to cover his business interests and come back to run the club day-to-day and steady the ship. Put Ling on temporary leave and then get a Slade-esque manager in to report directly to Travis.

If it comes to it offer other roles to Embleton and Webb within the club if said new manager wants their own staff. Tough decisions need making and they won't be popular with some but the performances leave little choice.

I've been a big fan of a lot of things T & T have done.And although I believe the DOF requirement is now redundant,I realise that,due to the mess we were in,it was necessary when they took control.But....
The responsibility for this shambles is theirs.
Fair play, they stood up re the Fletcher debacle,but the current situation is equally untenable.
As it seems to be common knowledge here,I imagine the conditions that CF accepted,and the subsequent situation he found himself in with our established coaching staff,are also common knowledge amongst the kind of people we should be looking to attract to the club.Good candidates will now think twice.
While it's true that there are guys out there who will say yes to the board's demands and then hope for the best.
That is not the kind of person we need now.

Even if the club was to bring back my choice of new manager, Russell Slade, the club have to accept changes need to be made in the January transfer window . If they can't and want to keep the status quo then we're in deep trouble .

Don't bother advertising . We should do what a lot of clubs do and choose who we want than go out and try and get them . As for being already contracted to other clubs , well Carl Fletcher was so what's the differnce ?

Well, we currently keep losing all the time so surely relegation is on the cards . We're not even drawing now and that's a worry.

Agreed and that's why I've said some tough decisions will have to be made in January , no matter who our manager is . Certain players need to leave so better replacements can be brought in .

Neither Martin or Sam needs to leave . What we do need however is a proven experienced manager to come in . The club also has to accept some tough decisions need to be made or it's back to the National League for us . We can't keep losing all the bloody time and expect to survive in this league .
