If you believe you can really get an understanding of a players contribution to a game from online streaming then my friend you are delusional. Within the confines of the camera you get literally a snap shot of the whole game.

What can people at a game see that a streamer cannot?

I've watched enough live football to know you don't get to see a players off the ball movement and positioning on a stream, but when it comes to seeing a centre half getting done for pace, getting caught out of position and struggling to move it is very apparent

I don’t think he was as at times he was wincing when striking the ball.

You can't tell on positioning on that stream. There is nothing wrong with that.

Yes pace has clearly been an issue - down the flanks, not through the middle - but that's it.

As above, I'll repeat, he needs some protection in front of him.

Josh did not start the season in the best of form like a few of our players but his form did pick up again. His recent dip in form coincides with the introduction of Carl Fletcher so let us hope he improves again.

Me thinks you are spot on.

Clay is now but a distant memory.

Reminds me of the time when Muhammad Ali went into a bar and ordered a drink. He paid for it using ceramic money,

The bartender said, ‘I can’t accept this, your Cash is Clay’.

I once read that making loads of defensive challenges doesn’t actually mean that you’re a good defender, as crazy as that sounds.

The theory goes that the very best defenders have to make less challenges as their positioning, marking and reading of the game is so good.

Maldini didn’t make many challenges per game and was one of the best defenders in history

Theory and practice - two very different things. At EFL League 2 level Coulson is a decent defender and we’re fortunate to have him.

I didn't think that McArdele was much of a footballer last week for Scunthorpe but he was physical, won almost every header and little got past him.
That's all you need in League 2, a couple of stoppers.

I sort of know where you're coming from, but I don't see too much wrong with criticism of players as long as it can be seen as constructive and not in a slagging off, and insulting tone. That's a no, no for me.
