Yeah, by those who still refuse to believe we are stuffing up our planet. They probably refuse to believe plastics are a scourge on our future too.

What present would you give each other?
What Corbyn should have quipped: A paternity testing kit.

They didn't like that he brought poor countries into it. I think I know exactly what kind of people they were.Disoriented wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 8:53 pmYeah, by those who still refuse to believe we are stuffing up our planet. Re: Johnson v Corbyn
It was okay for a panto. Neither leader was able to develop their arguments due to the pacing. But I think that both managed to avoid any major f*** ups, which was probably the main aim.

Agreed. Too rushed not enough time given to either of them really. Where is Andrew Neil when you need him he'd have controlled that much better.

Re: Johnson v Corbyn
Don’t like Corbyn. Don’t like Johnson. Neither fit to govern. Car crash of a debate where neither came out with much credit.
What a sorry state in politics right now. One a bumbling idiot the other can’t answer a question.
Depressing.
The ONLY thing I got is if we want another year of Brexit, then six months of Scottish referendum vote Labour. Not to mention higher taxes and inflation. If you want Brexit over so the country can start to move on vote Tory.
The format was crap. No time to get under the surface. All headline sound bites and nothing we haven’t already heard.
Waste of time. Not likely to change minds.

Poor format.
I was previously undecided which party to vote for but Corbyn walked that and has secured my vote for the reds.

To the gammon that shouted “here we go” when Corbyn started talking about the poorest in society. F**k off and have your inevitable aneurysm.

Re: Johnson v Corbyn
I spent some of that debate thinking 'Johnson is really insulting the country's intelligence by thinking anyone is thick enough to buy into the line he used about 40 times'. Then I read this bit of verbatim quoting.dOh Nut wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 9:09 pm Don’t like Corbyn. Don’t like Johnson. Neither fit to govern. Re: Johnson v Corbyn
That would just about sum up you and your fellow Marxist supporters Maxie boy, “didn’t watch it, but sounds like corbyn won easily”. Well I’ve news for you, no he didn’t. In typical fashion he was evasive and never answered the questions, where does he stand on brexit, will he rule out another Scottish referendum. Johnson won hands down, all corbyn could do is harp on with the nonsensical accusation that the Tory’s would sell out the n.h.s.

Re: Johnson v Corbyn
RC he’s promised the Scot’s a ref if he gets in and had the nerve to question the Boris deal and the pretend border in the sea! When he realised what he’d said he looked embarrassed and at that point obviously went off script.
