Ling and Harrold were poor for the first. I don’t know what they do in training because they certainly don’t know their roles when defending corners. The second was preventable, they were trying the long ball over the top the whole game and Ross didn’t change anything.

The 2nd goal was a slide pass not a long ball. What was shocking was Josh not even challenging the player who passed the ball. Bottler.

Looks like Ling stopped a certain goal there.
Defence looked very ponderous in those brief ‘highlights’
Didn’t think Alabi’s miss was that bad? Maybe wrong angle?

The second goal was a joke, the ball bounced off the knee of a Scunthorpe player to another one of there players. He slipped the ball to a forward who was not being marked by Brophy who stood there with his hand in the air appealing for offside.

Whatever it was they were playing into the space behind the defenders the whole game

Coulson and Happe look so slow chasing back. Brill could do better with that second too. Perfect example of our lack of CM getting stuck in as the player making the through ball gets between both without any kind of tackle or pressure

Agreed. No pressing from our midfield, yet again.

Weird bigging up of Lingy again. It was a routine challenge you’d expect him to make.

We know Coulson is struggling for pace but Happe doesn’t appear to have any such problems any more.

The extended highlights are now up and make much more pleasant viewing. We really should have scored a goal or two.

Brill looked rooted to the spot for the first, as for the second which from the east stand looked clearly offside, what was he doing? considering he spends most of the match on the halfway line shouting out orders he should have come earlier!!!

Re: Leyton Orient v Scunthorpe United Brief Lowlights
I didn't think that overall Orient were that bad yesterday. Sure they lacked a cutting edge up front but their keeper had more to do.
The two goals conceded were poo poo though.
Maybe they need to be a bit more like Scunthorpe; play a bit less football, a bit more long ball and more physicality.
