I Have a Cunning Plan

Post by Clive Evans »

Instead of all their ranting on here. The fans on here should all put their hands in their pockets and have a fan takeover bid . That way they could have total control of the Managerial and playing staff. We need to know how many come on here and perhaps if they all invested say £500,000 ( not a huge sum in the World of Football ), maybe we could have the team we all deserve.

I also have a cunning plan, spend the money they got for Koroma and Bonne and invest in an experienced proven Manager at this level and stop wasting money on unproven, inexperienced Mangers, then waste more money by paying them off.
Stop trying to big up the cheap option RE and advertise for an experienced, proven Manager at this level with no restrictions it’s not rocket science.

They did. The club lost money last season. The sale of those 2 didn't cover the loss.

The simple economic fact is the money was spent in advance

Question then spen... are the board lying when they say the money is going into the playing side as was quoted on a podcast some time back?

Of course we'll keep losing money paying Hearn's ever-increasing rent charges. Sacking Fletcher and seemingly paying up his contract after a month has probably eaten up whatever else was left :?

Hearn has not increased the rental costs, it's not his property.

Because all the players, coaches and managers all work for free. There are no expenses to running a football team.

The only cost is transfer fees?

That's assuming we'd increased the squad, it shrunk if anything (Simpson, Grainger and Lawless have no direct replacement)

The only place we have spent significantly is that huge roll call for the academy, which someone posted is where the Koroma money is going (Kent may have said it?) Would still love to know how much money that makes (or loses) with our prospects being snaffled by Prem / Championship U23 sides on the cheap.
