Yes good enough to get us over the line last season, but the removal of the 2 top scorers has not been adequately addressed and the others are all floundering with the desire, mental strength and sheer effort displayed by opponents (even like Scunny). Midfield is particularly weak.
Coulson and Brill's contracts are going to be nigh on impossible to move. Did Clay also sign a new two year deal? If so that's another tough one to move.

It’s all Alabi’s fault we lost ?😂😂

No? Read the question.
At least he had a go when he came on

Plus if your eyesight was 50% ok you would of seen both Wright and Alabi going for the same ball
He wasn’t on long and had 3 efforts at goal
Take off your hate glasses once in a while and watch the game properly doofus

Can Alabi only header in the exact direction he’s facing?
Only when he's on form!

We don’t need a Massive clear out. We have some good players there somewhere and what we need is an experienced guy at top to get us going.

Not going to criticise Ross. Twice he ha been dumped on From day 1, as tough as it was, we should have got an experienced manger in. Let Ross help the squad in the background whilst an experienced guy worked on a game plan. I feel for Ross he is trying his Best Buy by his own

We've got a goalkeeper struggling for form and fitness, no pro backup / competition

A decent LB who has no cover or competition, results shown today having to play Happe there who got roasted for pave down the line in build up to first goal.

A non-existent central midfield. One decent player for this level (Wright) with no ball-winner alongside him. Marsh loan looking a waste of time as Clay gets the nod every game regardless of how poor he plays.

Some half-decent wingers who keep getting moved upfront or back to LB (Brophy)

Two decent strikers who can't form a partnership as they're too similar. One 35 year old who is now looking tired and a player who is semi-pro quality.

Big overhaul needed.

It's going to take a few seasons to turn most of the players round. In the meantime a few in crucial positions will help.
Midfield is where we are really weak. That's the most important area to strengthen. A decent striker too.
Going to be a hard season from now on, even with only one going down.

I’m sorry. Hate to disagree. But a massive clear out is what we need. Brill and Coulson are out of shape, which is just an epic lack of professionalism more than anything else. No excuse for that from anyone who is a supposedly pro athlete. Add to them, ling (who to be fair was half decent today, but doesn’t excuse his lacklustre showings all season), Marvin, clay, JMD, harrold (as much as I like him he’s not cut out for this level anymore), Dennis and Alabi. Wright was also particularly bad today, but has not been amongst the worst this season. If that isn’t a clear out then I don’t know what is.

I don’t see many good players. If, without costing you any money, contacts etc which ones would you keep my answer would be Marvin e. Happe, Angol, Wilkinson at a push. Perhaps Widdowson. Macanuff if he was fit. That’s it. How many is that, 5 out of 16 regulars. No wonder we are struggling.

Agreed. I’d maybe add Wright to that list and Brophy. But that’s all.

If you were building a squad right now it'd be something like

New GK (Brill as backup)
Widdowson
Ekpiteta
Happe
New RB (perhaps Turley if he can stay fit)

Brophy
New CM
Wright
JMD

New ST
Angol / Wilkinson

Also need a few options on bench

New LB to cover Widdowson
New ST to replace Alabi

Yet for long spells I thought we were the better side . Our problem is we can't finish . First goal was sloppy defending again and the second was we got caught on the counter attack because we were pushing forward for an equaliser . We have to put our chances away when we're on top or we will find ourselves in trouble come the end of the season .

Yet for all of Alabi's criticism he was our most dangerous goal threat . He had more shots on goal than the rest of the team did put together .

Alabi a goal threat that is hilarious.
He may have had more shots than the rest of the team but that means nothing as he always fails to score.

Trust me , I've seen much worse performances than today . Problem is we're missing Angol and Wilkinson . Angol did come on late in the second half but understandably looked off the pace. It's going to take him a bit of time to get back up to speed.
