No thank you.
His appointment would leave me as underwhelmed as when Southgate was given the England job
Non winners, just get managers like that and some things never change
Gareth Southgate, who delivered England's best tournament performance for 28 years?
And finished 3rd best loser behind 2nd best loser Belgium & 1st loser Croatia
Finally by 1st winners France .

Slade for me aswell, played great football under him & he certainly gelled with the fans.
Always a smile on his face & when my son was a ball boy at the infamous Sheffield utd game he had so much time for all the children on the day, a very nice man & an ideal person to take us forward.
As for some on here you have to realise your not going to get Jurgen klopp in the building, you have to be more realistic.

Like realising Russell Slade is under contract to another club

I have little doubt there will be a release clause. He’s done it before.
I believe that in our current situation, Russ would be a great choice. Bags of experience, bit of a father-figure but a great motivator and always seemed to be upbeat and had a fantastic rapport with the crowd.
Whether he would want to do it is another matter but it must be worth getting in touch with him to find out.

Absolutely. I’d love Russell back with us and would be 110% behind him

Well Dickinson slaughtered him on the Orient hour, despite the rest of the panel wanting him back. It’s hard to argue his point to be fair which was he’s never been promoted and been sacked at every club he’s been at.
I see him as more than that, a person who could galvanise the team and club and I do believe he would indeed gain promotion with us. Isn’t his record with us decent in that every season we finished higher under him?
I didn't want him back and nor did one or two others, kev was wrong there. I agree with kev, he has failed for 30 consecutive years to achieve a single promotion or a single trophy, if anyone wants to explain how they think a man who has failed every year for 30 years is the right man to help us achieve promotion, then I'm all ears.
Slade is manager at Hereford fc. I don’t think it would be a good appointment (if he could be persuaded to come here). Also why would he want to come here on a short term contract?
He also sh*t on us to make a money move to Cardiff, where he failed, as we all know he has never managed to get a club promoted!
No thanks we can do a lot better.
Loved him when he was here but don't think bringing him back is the answer , my money is on Webb getting the gig after Ross has finished his latest stint .

Not sure we need to go back to Slade, there are plenty of experienced managers around and I'd take someone who's had previous success at league 2 level. Paul Tisdale has been successful and I think he would be interested in the project of building Orient up over a few years.

If he wanted the job that is.
As opposed to not being interested in the project if he didn't want the job
