No nut the process changed, what part of that don’t you get?
The process may not have changed, what may have is the criteria they applied. Two different things.
Simple example. You can use the same recruitment process to recruit a finance Director or an IT Director. What will change is the criteria, the requirements if you like for the role. The boxes to be ticked

Not really sure it was the process.....
The trouble is, preferences from elsewhere tainted the search. The need to work with a DoF and the need to work with the current backroom pretty much killed off the good candidates. Both of these factors are under his control.
You have hit the nail on the head my friend - the above, along with the apparent exclusion of applicants with multiple previous Manager/HC roles on their CV meant the field was narrowed artificially and unnecessarily from the outset.

Totally agree, who an ounce of common sense would taint the search to such an extent that resulted in only the most unproven , inexperienced applicant getting the the job, it’s crazy .
Lessons have to be learnt, only proven, experienced Managers at this level and above need apply with no restrictions on who they may want as back room staff.

Don't think the process itself changed, It was a criteria change basically eliminating managers with decent experience, when what we really needed was a manager who had a decent amount of experience.
Spot on TOW, when will we learn, enough of this silly idea of untried people We need experienced guys like Justin who learnt they're trade around the clubs, get a charismatic guy through door who can relate to people, motivate the players, kick arse if required, another Justin in other words. find the guy, How about Harry Redknap, I've lit the blue touch paper now sit back and await the knockers, not that I'm bothered anyway

A complete and utter joke.
Well done Disoriented, your doing well keeping shtum let the others fall into your thought pattern
No need to say anything - it all speaks for itself.
Three games on the the trot, embarrassing, Sthorp haven't one away since January, Morecambe bottom of the league had only scored 14 goals in16 games, Malden & Tiptree 4 league below us how low can we get, well I'll call it now said before and say it again we will go down. New thinking has to start from the top now, they're idea to wait until January is another stupid think, the legacy left over from Justin will have evaporated. A tried and tested manager is required asap, the team has lost all sparkle all idea's, major overhaul now or as I said we will go down

There is not going to be any expierenced manager from outside this club coming into this club as its set up atm
Ok if that what they want then that's what will occur
There is absolutely no point advertising for a person, any person, if when they are selected they cannot change tactics to the way they want be it fitness / technical awareness/ shape/ training routine /or even communication styles.
I wonder how the club could be so naive - (it's this naivety is as much annoying as the selection and subsequent disposal of CF which affects that ( guy and family- that upsets me I may add )
I'm amazed that seasoned people be it intellect or football career did not stop and ask the applicants the simple question
"If you were selected as a manager would your strategy be to work with the contracted staff despite any subsequent shortfall you may have in them or do you require wholesale changes within a few months of starting.
In other careers these sort of type of questions are raised - different type but the meaning the same

Dis you follow me that's ok I guess we live in different countries and will never meet
We may even be similar ages and social backgrounds as you agree with my comments - that's not an issue I suppose - other than we don't really get well on here at times
I feel quite bad I as I said on another thread I don't like a troll if that what you are - it's all bit weird
