Re: Tory Watch
It’s ok I’ve found it.
It is certainly reprehensible that people want to post such things on social media, I agree that they have been suspended and that an investigation is to be held, the quicker the better. Rasicism should play no part in a civilised society and one that is inclusive like ours is.

Re: Tory Watch
Before you drag Blairs Labour into this and reduce the debate to a spiral of fukwittery can you please acknowledge and condemn the danger to UK democracy of the Tories accepting huge donations from Russian kleptocrats.

Re: Tory Watch
So you refuse to condemn the corruption of UK democracy by Russian Kleptocrats. Fair enough. I have passed your details on to MI5.

Re: Tory Watch
I work for the service so don't bother, only joking. If it can be proven and currently it hasn't been then of course it is deplorable, but until we have facts then it's a bit speculative isn't it?

Re: Tory Watch
You on the Deludamol tablets again?
It has been proven but Boris won't allow the report to be published. What about the Boris and Dave Tennis match the Klepto's wife paid the Tories £160k for? That's in the public domain.

Re: Tory Watch
Max the report needs to be published I think we agree on that, until its published it's all conjecture.
Redo government might be different parties at different times, but they will cover each others arses when it suits both parties. Of that I'm convinced.
It doesn't smaell nice thats for sure.

Re: Tory Watch
I see Thor, so when its the Tories we should give them the benefit of the doubt and wait until we get firm evidence but when its Labour we should jump to the least charitable interpretation and rush to judgement regardless of the lack of actual evidence. Gotcha.

Re: Tory Watch
Several months ago I pointed out a case of this in the Tory party where a councillor was suspended and very quickly reinstated as the majority in the town hall would have been lost. I was accused of whataboutery at the time, it seems you can mention any failings in any parties except one.

Re: Tory Watch
ETR and Mikero, I can't stand politicians, councillors or whoever in places of trust and public offence talking the piss it drives me mad. I don't care what or who they are I detest them to the bottom of my shoes.
This Russian situation don't look to good, the guardian article said it affected both parties, but probably the tories more, what needs to happen is transparency and we will not be getting that anytime soon. We need honesty from the house and we need respect from.the house, neither of which I see happening anytime soon.
So I keep getting asked who am I going to vote for, I still don't know cos I am not sure I trust any of them.

Re: Tory Watch
It's not "the house" that's hiding the report into Russian interference with the Tory Party and denying you your transparency - it's No 10 Downing St - unless that's what you meant by the house - in which case why leave your statement ambiguous ? (I wonder?)Thor wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 5:52 pm ETR and Mikero, I can't stand politicians, councillors or whoever in places of trust and public offence talking the p*ss it drives me mad. He will be impressed by the transparency within the NHS (in England) where the waiting lists are the worst since measuring them began. Along with the failure to meet unambitious targets in other areas such as cancer treatment.

I suspect that Johnson is counting on running down the clock on this time-critical information while he attends primary school classes and other 'safe' photo opportunities (where he doesn't get challenged).
