Got a text message this morning saying I have money due , googled Paym and found it to be a money paying service , I'm not sure about sending any details to them , anyone know anything about Paym ? Thank you.

It sounds like a scam text message to me, the fraudsters are trying different ways to get your bank details. If you contact them they will probably ask for your bank details and then try and clear it out of money.

Are you owed money from a friend? Someone in your phone contacts list? That's how that system works, if not then be wary.

Paym is real and the banks do use it for people to move money to friends who they owe money to. However, a scammer maybe sending the message pretending to be paym.

If I was you I would speak to my bank and seek their advice.

The other scam is to get you to opt out by texting 'STOP' and that will connect you to a premium rate number. Google 'Paym scam text message' and you will find lots of examples.
