Personally I think we’re stuck him for a while yet as it would cost a few bob to pay him off now and ML wouldn’t look too good with this appointment.
It will be interesting to see if results don’t improve between now and January, whether the board back Fletcher with funds to allow him to bring in his own players.
Pay peanuts and get a monkey - as they say.

Mind you, a monkey would have more charisma that Fletcher.
That's a stupid childish thing to say. Get a grip.

Kent, be the bigger man and admit Ling got this catastrophically wrong. You have the power to do something about it.

Two sackings needed.

Tisdale in.
Disoriented, you know that will never happen.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present

Time to bring this thread back.

He is arguably the best available candidate out there. He would offer us a gravitas we have missed since Justin’s sad passing. He will offer a vision and he would instantly command the respect of the players. If I were ling my phone would be like the bat phone, red hot and ringing him constantly trying to get him to buy into a project and vision with freedom to drive this club forwards and towards the championship. How could that not be worthwhile to tisdsle?

So mr ling, get the coffee on and invite him round, you know it makes sense.

It's Embleton. Macklin just practically confirmed it.

Well in that case the board will need to back him in the transfer market in order to bring in another two or three good signings . Failure to do that and we could end up in a spot of bother come the end of the season.
