How can he motivate a dressing room. I feel for the team. Under Ross they were fine. Under this imbecile we have no wins from 5 again very poor teams. I played with Martin ling as a youngster. Great player but doing nothing for the club. Totally destroying what Justin and Ross done for our club. Fletcher please go back to your under 18 at Bournemouth as loan manager. We don’t need you negativity
What time does your circus leave town
how dare you say 2 promotions.......Justin is responsible for the second promotion, and no one else. dont take that away from Justin

Re: Fletcher must go
Weird how many people who were writing off Embleton as unfit for the job are now saying he was doing well.
Re: Fletcher must go
No one made them play football - if they want security they can choose to do something about it. Given that Fletcher spent a decent amount of time at Premier League/Champions League level I'd have thought he might be a millionaire either through cash or assets and already have a level of security most people don't.
We don't owe Fletcher, or anyone else a living, that is for sure.
That said, I feel talk of him being sacked is premature but he needs some results sooner rather than later. If he gets to 10 games and we've only had 1 win that would be not be good enough. No doubt he knows how to win a game, but at the moment he doesn't look like he knows how to win over the staff and players..... if the club gets too close to the relegation zone I think the owners will act.

Re: Fletcher must go
He should have the next two home games to show us that he's up to the job, if we get less than two points he's got to go. You can't be fairer than that.

Sadly this. If we lose to Scunthorpe that's 6 points dropped against relegation rivals in 2 weeks and that doesn't bode well.Article_50 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2019 5:10 pm He should have the next two home games to show us that he's up to the job, if we get less than two points he's got to go. Have to see a positive reaction to bounce back from the players on Saturday or the theory he's lost the dressing room becomes more and more likely. At that point whether it's been 7 games or 17 there's only one way it ends.

Should the players be preemptive and bring their dinners with them this weekend?

Eh?UpminsterO wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2019 8:44 am The issue of many posts is the poster reasons or hypotheses to justify their comment is just that. One could state a case for any comment giving sound reasons.
The issue I always have had on this public board and before anyone answers " if you don't like it don't read it or F off ) is the insensitive and inarticulate at times posts people make.
Yes some on here are obviously bright and command well written English - however they go far beyond what could be classified as a view.
They use make believe in their own head to a number of imaginary facts with no idea even if there is a grain of true, then spout on what they would do or the club should do.
Some of them have obviously never even played football and my hypotheses is they would not if even been picked in a school kick about but they are so damming to other people's careers.
Not being able to play a sport themselves does not stop them having a view but this board over the years has hounded out many compentent footballers and guess what many go on and are still playing at a higher level than thus club
Look at a post even today and we have the Blackpool forward banging in the goals the list of others is endless.
Returning to football here, sure they are free to go and follow any other job but the rewards they get paid at this club I bet are generally no greater than what the average fan in a professional career can earn.
No one knows what fletcher earns, what he saved, what he spend or his life style - that is not open to speculation.
What we need is points and beating teams on paper that we should thrash.
I looked at the Lofc team that played Maldon when it was announced there was nothing wrong with the individual players and only God knows how they did not play as a team to win
We are only a few matches since we won a league .
The only way forward is for the team and coaches to get together and be totally open without prejudice and talk through the reasons why we are not performing to our potential and come up with tactics and a game plan that suits the most talented players and play them in their preferred position each match and stop switching their positions or duties
All the best teams do that - everyone knows what they should do and why, even the fans know that too - then one can criticise the underperforming team because quite frankly if they do not play as a team with energy and total commitment then we have no team - just 11 frustrated individuals
