True but I think it's going to be more painful viewing . Yesterday has knocked me for six . I reckon we're definitely going to lose on Saturday but I'll be there .....Gulp. !

Re: Ser you allon Saturday
I will grumble, criticize, but through good times or bad I will be there. Scunthorpe always seem to beat us at the orient and the fact that they have not won away, and only drawn 2 makes them nailed on to beat us.

Re: Ser you allon Saturday
I'll be there and I will support the team and manager, but boy he needs to pull his finger out! Show some passion man like we do up and down this country week after week, it's not much to ask is it?
Back in the day when Bonby Robson was managing Sporting, I was watching the game with my sons grandfather and all of a sudden Bobby takes off his suit jacket throws it to the floor and jumps up and down on it. This is Bobby Robson, ex England manager and I turn and say what the hell is he doing and I was told, the Portuguese want to see passion, they want to see the coach fight for the team, the club and the fans. At that point the noise level went through the roof, the team responded and Sporting won.
We need a bit of that from Fletch.

I’ll be coming to my first Orient game this season (not been boycotting or anything like that, just other stuff going on). And I’m up on the balcony in the posh seats with the Directors and Co too. Be interesting to see what the mood is like in the “inner sanctum”. Let’s hope we play better and get a result, but I’m not hopeful.

Re: Ser you allon Saturday
My loyalty to the club is well documented, in case you don’t know it I have supported the O’s for over 62 attending the majority’s of home games over this period and had a season ticket for about 40 years , not renewing only for two of those years.
This season was the second that I didn’t renew for a variety of reasons including the fact that having sold our two best strikers cheaply , we failed to bring in adequate replacements that could equal the leaving players strike rate.
I also had no faith in the club recruiting a new quality Manager that had a proven record in this division with the capability of getting us promoted.
I chose instead to wait and see if matches were worth going to watch at home this season, hence my non attendance to date.

He's been an O's fan for 62+ years so shut it.
Seriously though this seems to come down to money so I'm not really hopeful in January.

Me too. Am I stupid? Well I know the answer to that, but a bad habit I can’t shift.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 1:00 pmTrue but I think it's going to be more painful viewing . Re: Ser you allon Saturday
IMO, we did bring in two very capable replacements for Bonne and Koroma in Angol and Wilkinson . Unfortunately , you were bang on the money regarding the new Manager.PoundhillO wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 3:28 pmMy loyalty to the club is well documented, in case you don’t know it I have supported the O’s for over 62 attending the majority’s of home games over this period and had a season ticket for about 40 years , not renewing only for two of those years.

Well done poundy. I was brought up respecting any O's fan that has followed the team for this long. That doesn't really apply now though. Today, you're more likely to be ridiculed!PoundhillO wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 3:28 pmMy loyalty to the club is well documented, in case you don’t know it I have supported the O’s for over 62 attending the majority’s of home games over this period and had a season ticket for about 40 years , not renewing only for two of those years.
