What is your vote worth?
http://www.voterpower.org.uk/
As I live in a very safe seat, I have the equivalent of 0.135 votes. Anyone's vote worth less than mine?

Re: What is your vote worth?
Yes. My postcode isn't recognised but I reckon it has a reasonably high score as it's a Labour/Tartan Tory marginal.

Re: What is your vote worth?
Mine is 0.124.
Interestly West Ham is the least powerful constituency in the whole country according to that site.
Max you have to put your constituency name in and it will come up.

0.056 Hornchurch and Upminster
Since they changed the boundary it is an ultra safe Tory seat.

At first I thought it was me, but having attempted several edits I've realised that you can't insert a hyperlink anymore. FFS Caca!

In all seriousness is it simple to run the back end of things here? Or does the host do everything? Not being funny genuinely intrigued.

Re: What is your vote worth?
Sorry but no - your vote is nearly 4 times as powerful as my 0.011 of a vote as I'm in West Ham constituency. Which, btw, is 641 out of 650 on the voter power index & not the worst as Thor said. I think he read the bottom 10 list the wrong way round.jamespevans wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 1:51 pm Liverpool Riverside - 0.041 - think we have a winner/loser

Re: What is your vote worth?
0.061 (Tunbridge Wells). The only remainer constituency in Kent but MP Greg Clark is basically a LibDem with a blue rosette. He was one of the 21 who lost the whip over the Benn Act, but brown-nosed enough to get it back. Will get 50%+ of the votes again now the Farridge Party has bottled it. Lab & Libs will be lucky to get 20% each.
Met our Lab candidate at a Party fundraiser quiz on Saturday night (team came a lousy 4th and I won a tin of really crud dogfood in the raffle). A youngster being shown the GE ropes who will probably get a run at a seat with a better chance of success next time if he shows promise.

Re: What is your vote worth?
0.010 - so not very much at all
That said, how up to date is that site? I didn't think Kirkcaldy & Cowdenbeath was that "ulta safe" nowadays (it may have been in Gordon Brown's time - thought those horrid nationalists had made significant inroads since then and Labour only gained it back from them last time round The comments on the site are 5 and 10 years old, so I'm not sure it's all that contemporary.

Tower Hamlets. Each of my five votes are worth £150 if I vote for Corbyn.

Re: What is your vote worth?
That website is nonsense. Says my vote practically worthless. Yet I live in Thurrock one of the most marginal seats in the country. Whoever wins it, forms a Government. Very lack lustre Tory MP Jackie Doyle Price. Hoping I wave bye bye to her on Friday the 13th December ( is that a bad omen?)
