Fletchers inability is f*ck all to do with Ling.
If it was Justin Edinburgh would have suffered a similar fete.
Now go away & stop being a numpty

Give the job to Danny Webb . You know, somebody who's actually been coaching and managing these past few years .BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2019 3:01 pmThere was rumours that Webb and Fletcher have been rowing about tactics.

Has Fletch lost the dressing room already?
The rumours from the Orient hour, the performances past culminating is such an abject display today. Something is seriously wrong, somewhere.

Ling chose him. Ling has made in compulsory for any new manager to work with that coaching set up.

Re: Fletcher Out and Ling Out
Fletcher was the best candidate according to the ‘master’!
Ling is the fuc-ing problem, the problem with you is that you are blinkered.
He was ok as a player, not very good as a manager and bloody useless as DOF.
I think referring to me as a numpty is pot and kettle.

Re: Fletcher Out and Ling Out
Wasn’t in favour of the Fletcher appointment, but having got the job I said I’d back it and that he has to be given time. I also haven’t yet seen us play under Fletcher, so I don’t know if he’s trying to change the style (which will take time), hence am just going on reports and highlights, but he’s got off to a disastrous start, and today has to be the worst loss in my lifetime given M&T are four tiers below us. Will be at the Scunthorpe game and I expect a positive reaction from the team, that’s what should happen, whether it will is another thing. If we’re not in another Paul Went scenario, there has to be some improvement p.d.q.
As to Ling, have never really understood the need for a DoF at our level, it’s had pluses (e.g. stability/ JE) and minuses (e.g. Davis), but given what NT & KT have done for the club I’m not going to argue that one.

Re: Fletcher Out and Ling Out
I’d be surprised if 39 were worse than him. But who knows, maybe he was the only one who drank coffee
Ans worshipped the messiah.
It was Lings recommendation and he’s Fuc-ed up again, just as he did when he appointed Davis.
That must tell you something is lacking in his judgement!

Re: Fletcher Out and Ling Out
To be fair to Martin Ling he didn't offer Steve Davis the job. What Martin Ling did (as confirmed by Ling, Travis & Teague) is that he wittled down the applicants to a three man shortlist. Those three (Steve Davis, Teddy Sheringham & A N Other) were interviewed by Travis and Teague with Davis obviously getting the gig. The owners and Ling have also made clear that the CV's of the non-shortlisted candidates were always available to Teague & Travis. They weren't hidden or binned. If the three final candidates hadn't interviewed well then I imagine they'd have started looking through the CV's again to see who was next in line.

I can't help imagining you lot walking up and down the High Road with "The end of the World is nigh" on your sandwich board. It's a form of mass hysteria on this board. Freud would be fascinated.

Re: Fletcher Out and Ling Out
Experience can mean those with a lesser percentage of wins than Fletcher alsoRedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2019 10:02 pmNo but I think Martin hinted they had much more experience than Fletcher .
Plenty of Sh*t managers are.out of work.
Please understand i dont want Fletcher here .
But as i said before the appointment when people were screaming for Campbell or Sean Derry or a few others , they have to want to come here .
Loads assume this is a good job & normally yes agreed.
But we lost JE , Conference league title winner who dies
How do you follow that ?
Good managers wont put there record up against that
Theyll wait for better opportunities.
