All in all, you cannot make a silk purse out of a sows ear, so we have to play a style of football that is in keeping with the skill levels of the players that we have at our disposal.

Common sense. Play to our players strengths with a system they understand and can manage. Takes a little more experience than reading a few books. World of difference between theory and practice.
