Ta, much obliged.

Dayton, who let's remember only came on a few minutes ago has had to go off to be replaced by Gorman. Yay! It just gets better and better.

Paying the price for several poor decisions at board level. I feel sorry for Fletcher in a way, they dithered for too long and didn’t take advantage of the whole week off any new manager could have had with the team. Any new manager HAS to work with the current set up. I’ve not been to a game since he’d been announced so I don’t really know how the team is looking other than what people say on here

Fletcher will obviously cop the onslaught that awaits following this loss. I agree that the Board need to look very closely at the decisions they made around Fletcher’s selection. The “process” outlined at great length by Matt Porter in the recent podcast has clearly not worked. Nor has the precondition to insist that the existing coaching set up stay in place - thereby effectively making the job less attractive to some potential candidates. Finally Porter’s throwaway comment that the Orient are no longer looking for individuals with a number of former club’s on their CV excludes those with the degree of experience the club badly needed.
