Re: Why did Carl Fletcher
Is that all down to Fletcher? I would have thought Ling and the coaching staff would have had plenty of input into that decision tbh.

He apparently decided it would be good for him to get game time!redintheface wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2019 2:06 pmIs that all down to Fletcher? I would have thought Ling and the coaching staff would have had plenty of input into that decision tbh.

Re: Why did Carl Fletcher
I’d put it down to Ling. hems in charge of all footballing matters, Fletcher is effectively a head coach

Guaranteed and bloody well deserved. To say Fletch hasn't made an instant impact would not be an understatement, it would be actually wrong. He has made an impact, we're as shocking as we were before JE sorted us out.

Her comes the big guns. Off goes Ling and he's replaced by James 'Goalmachine' Alabi.

And justified
Re: Why did Carl Fletcher
As soon as Embleton decided he did not want the job anymore results improved, now I don't know if he was more relaxed, and this meant the players were more relaxed, but something happened, if it does not work for Fletcher, I would be happy if the Board asked Embleton to step in again and see what happens.

Re: Why did Carl Fletcher
That's just the thing. Ross got far more out of the same players as Fletcher is getting. What really worries me now is we haven't got an experienced manager with some passion and fight to get us out of this mess. Considering last weeks shocker at Morecambe and today's result has me concerned we could be fighting against relegation this season .whittle81 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2019 3:09 pm As soon as Embleton decided he did not want the job anymore results improved, now I don't know if he was more relaxed, and this meant the players were more relaxed, but something happened, if it does not work for Fletcher, I would be happy if the Board asked Embleton to step in again and see what happens.
