Controversial perhaps but may have an ounce of truth in it. He has struggled this year with the pace of the league and the increase in quality of players going past him. May well turn out to be one of the favourites we'll need to let go in order to move forward.

Tough on Coulson. Pace has caught him out but he still commands at the back and I’d sooner have him play than not. And who do we replace him with?

January will have the answer for that but it'll cost £££. The amount of shoddy goals we concede inside the box suggests no one is commanding that area right now.

433 at home against Tiptree, we will see. Could be he will play 2 of the front three wide. 4321 sort of thing. I can’t go so I’ll be interested in how those that do see the formation. From his interview it seems like he is not relying on the main striker(s) for goals, rather having a system where goal chances can come from many sources. Well I think that’s what he said.

If so, I assume Brophy, Dayton, Dennis, JMD et al will be tasked at getting their share perhaps taking some of the weight off Harold, Wilkinson and Angol. Wonder if that’s what intensity means. Fast attacking on different fronts.

Could be exciting if it works. And hard for teams to play against.

A good workout tomorrow prior to the Main events of the next two home league games where his ideas should be clear.

Those that know how I work. I NEVER initiate bad comments. I ALWAYS respond to sarcasm and other stuff in kind.

The solution is simple. Keep comments civil. I have no objection to people taking the piss, I even do it to myself from time to time. But sometimes stuff gets tedious and boring and totally unnecessary when all we need is debate.

Sadly some on here seem to take every opportunity to have a dig. What do people expect from me? I’m not the take it on the chin quietly type.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Ling and the scouts are not already seeking a replacement, loan or permanent, with maybe the Marsh loan ending.

Interesting variation on the usual 4-3-3, gets 3 of our most dangerous players in the side so that's promising on paper at least.
