No, he was assisted by Matt Porter.
No disrespect to Matt but what the f*** does he know about football management.

No game smeghead, just stating facts, most of what you post is nonsense.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 6:34 pmOh you're playing that game now. Or as Corporal Jones in Dads Army would say.....( and often at that !! ) ''Permission to panic, permission to panic'' !!
We got done at Plymouth a few hours after he took over the team. Then we played some of the best football we have this season in the first half vs Carlisle, before a poor second half but took a point. We were poor at Morecambe and hopefully that is our low point. We then had an excellent second half against BHA u21s. It has not been a great spell, but there ae signs there might be something there. If the form continues into December then I'd be concerned, but for now, I'm willing to give him a chance. We've got 3, potentially 4 home games in a row. Lets see where we are after those.Orient Punxx wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 7:15 pm Playing well previously - playing poo poo now.
Something not right.
Sounds fair.Red_Army wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 11:17 am I do feel for Fletcher in that he's the first outsider that has taken over since the events of the summer, which was going to be difficult for anyone. He isn't helped by the fact that you can't point to a proven track record or affinity to the club. His interviews haven't been great, but I do feel like people who were anti his appointment have jumped on it a little as a stick to beat him with.
He may well turn out to be a totally inappropriate appointment, but I'm willing to give him more than 4 games and judge him on more than his elocution.
Can’t agree with the “first outside appointment since JE” stuff causing issues. In fact I would hazard a guess and say the players have even more reason to try and build on the JE legacy. A negative reaction to the new man being an outsider is in my opinion highly disrespectful to Justin. I would suggest the players are working hard in memory of a great man and don’t want to let him down.Red_Army wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 11:17 am I do feel for Fletcher in that he's the first outsider that has taken over since the events of the summer, which was going to be difficult for anyone. I wasn't talking about the players, I was talking about the fanbase. There are a number of people who I believe will never fully warm to an outsider which is understandable in many ways.dOh Nut wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 11:54 amCan’t agree with the “first outside appointment since JE” stuff causing issues. But of course he needs more than 4 games and he will get many more than that. The remainder of the season at least, assuming we don’t plumet down the table.
His interviews are pure cack. Lack lustre, uninspiring and difficult to comprehend what he plans moving forward. But that won’t matter once we get a few wins under our belt, starting with the next two Saturdays. A great opportunity to see how he wants us to play, I suspect 451. But a couple of wins and we will all feel more positive about his appointment.
Are you serious?Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 1:10 pm I get no pleasure in criticising the man again, but I've just listened to another interview (Brighton) The times his opening words to a question are prefixed with a slightly high pitched. .. errr. A sign of insecurity that. Sorry, but I have no confidence in this appointment whatsoever.
What on earth did Ling and Co see in CF at interview?
Brian Moore has also sacked Gilso. So no chance of that happening. It's been a bad year for him.
No understand.Red_Army wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 1:13 pmAre you serious?Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 1:10 pm I get no pleasure in criticising the man again, but I've just listened to another interview (Brighton) The times his opening words to a question are prefixed with a slightly high pitched. .. errr. Nothing bizarre at all. To this day, the loss of a close, young, workmate/teammate/friend haunts me. I understand only too well the emotions surrounding such a situation. I wish I didn’t. My opinions are based on very tragic circumstances and the experiences that followed.Red_Army wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 12:48 pmI wasn't talking about the players, I was talking about the fanbase. Anyway, you were bizarrely against appointing an insider this summer, so I don't expect you to understand why it would be difficult for an outsider at this stage.
Do you not think that your overanalysing his interview a bit?Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 2:36 pmNo understand.Red_Army wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 1:13 pmAre you serious?Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 1:10 pm I get no pleasure in criticising the man again, but I've just listened to another interview (Brighton) The times his opening words to a question are prefixed with a slightly high pitched. .. errr. Well yes there are! Insecure or maybe not so sure of themselves when speaking. Which Fletcher is.Wally Banter wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 2:48 pm If saying 'errr' before giving an answer is a sign of insecurity, then boy, there are a lot of insecure footballers out there.
