They guy just does not have the experience. He is learning on the job in the hope he is a quick learner and knows what the f*** to do ready for next season. The club playing the long game. In the meantime us fans can f*** off.

Well in that case that would make them a bunch of you know what..simple!RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 4:47 pm It seems to me that the players played for Ross but their not playing for Fletcher . Their the same player Ross had that are now doing so badly for Fletcher.

I was saying we needed to bring back Russell as soon as Ross said he was stepping down. Russell has the experience and knows extremely well what our club is all about .Orient Punxx wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 4:58 pm Should of got Russell Slade in, rather than got Fletch out of Slade Prison.

Re: Exiles thread vs Morecambe 2/11
Redwarf that's a ridiculous assessment from you, why would the players do that already 3 games in?
Not a great performance from what I've read but still give the man a chance.
Some of you have made your mind up on Fletcher already & some the same people who did the same on Ross.
I said on here before the Grass isn't always Greener.
Tell you what see if you can Pep's number see if he'd be interested in managing us but ask him what colour socks he wears first in case some of you don't like them.

I still can't get over starting the game today with most of our attacking players on the bench . Although I'm quite used to us losing I can't help feeling very angry at the moment . Today was total sh*t .

We had a very offensive bench, for sure.
Which non attacking player would you have replaced from the starting lineup?

How did this guy get through the interview stages to the last four ?RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 4:58 pmHe clearly wasn't . Didn't we all say we needed an experienced manager . Fletcher hasn't managed for 6 years and it's beginning to show . If I was him I would bring in a couple of loan signings ASAP . Today was totally unacceptableDisoriented wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 4:52 pm He wasn’t the right choice in the first place. Helen Keller would have seen that coming.
I find his interviews irritating and a real turn off so far.

Of course it’s too early to be writing him off. But the evidence so far is not looking good.North Stand Dave wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 5:03 pm Redwarf that's a ridiculous assessment from you, why would the players do that already 3 games in?

A manager " learning on the job" was the last candidate we needed considering the past five or six years we've had to endure.

Right from the start, seemed a rather strange appointment to me and having seen his interviews, does not raise any enthusiasm at all so far.

Re: Exiles thread vs Morecambe 2/11
Veey disappointing result for sure. But from what you say it's almost like Orient had the right to go there and do whatever we liked and it doesn't matter about the other 11 players on the pitch who we are playing against. You do understand that it's not just about Orient, right?RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 5:10 pmRedO wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 5:05 pmThis is tosh.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 5:03 pm I still can't get over starting the game today with most of our attacking players on the bench . I think the 11 on the pitch need to take some responsibility for the loss too - don’t you?RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 5:10 pmRedO wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 5:05 pmThis is tosh.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 5:03 pm I still can't get over starting the game today with most of our attacking players on the bench . Apart from when we were 20th under Ross, playing 5-3-2 and rolling over for anyone who played us? Players weren't exactly busting a gut for him either at times.Orient Punxx wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 5:10 pm Everything was fine in my opinion, until this appointment.
Squad isn't good enough, fitness isn't good enough. Big changes and big money spend required in January or we're in big trouble.
When you move up a level you invest and strengthen the squad. We sold our best assets and failed to improve on what we had in key areas. This is the result.

Yes, correct and that's why I said if I was Carl I would be looking at bringing in a couple of loans players . Today he should have seen where our dead wood is . Maybe go back to Bournemouth and borrow one or two of their fringe players for at least a couple of monthsredintheface wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 5:13 pmI think the 11 on the pitch need to take some responsibility for the loss too - don’t you?RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 5:10 pm

Agreed . If today hasn't shown Carl where our weaknesses are than nothing will. The club thought he was the best man for the job so now they have to back him up in the transfer/loan market before we slip into relegation trouble .
