If Corbyn has any sense (which he hasn't) he'll be wise during the campaign to tell Dianne Abbott, Emily Thornberry and John McDonnell (a plague upon him) to keep their mouths shut. And Corbyn should keep a low profile too.

I am amazed at the amount of votes for the Tory party. I mean, why? Look into the detail. Johnson’s deal is just Theresa May’s deal with cheap lipstick. The ERG are Johnson’s useful idiots now. Boris Johnson himself is a payed up liberal. The Tories will invite as many remainers and one nation types back into the fold as soon as is possible. Their born to rule philosophy refuses to acknowledge the new reality. Look at the total distain for any type of pact with Farage. They still believe that those who would prefer a true right wing Conservative party again are fruitcakes loonies and closest racists. I would put my cross next to Corbyn over Johnson.

The stupid bit I can forgive but if you understand what the tories stand for and believe their way is the right way to go about things then yeah, I’m going to struggle to like you as a person.
Blue cap, f*** em. Just sit somewhere else in the ground.

Incredible. 17 people now want to vote Tory, despite the last 10 years and this current setup. You all need locking up.

Re: Who will you be voting for?
Your view sounds terribly reasonable until you exact it to the least bit of scrutiny. I don't know if your values are a mere triviality to you but to me they are pretty integral to who I am. I would no sooner break bread with an unrepentant racist or misogynist than I would for someone who has knowingly voted for a party responsible for the persecution of disabled in this country. People have died, been driven to suicide, been left vulnerable, hungry and homeless. If you voted Tory any time over the last 13 years then you know what they're about, you have access to information confirming the human tragedy perpetrated by this government and yet you still did it. That makes you a terrible human being, in my honest opinion and when someone makes it known to me that that's the way they feel about the disabled then we're done. If you hate women, we're done. If you hate people of a different race, ethnicity or religion then we're done. If you hate the disabled, we're done. I haven't even touched on the other moral crimes of this government. We could be here all day. If you vote Tory you've picked elitism, prejudice and persecution. Shame on you.Winchesterfan wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 8:45 pmIt is totally irrelevant who your friends vote for and IF anyone is ridiculed for voting a different way they are not proper friends. Give me 5 other countries that don’t have poverty, vulnerable people, homeless etc. You want something that doesn’t exist. It certainly doesn’t exist in the countries that follow what I presume are you’re politics. You will just die bitter and twisted.Eat The Rich wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 11:57 amYour view sounds terribly reasonable until you exact it to the least bit of scrutiny. This assumption rears its ugly head a lot with right wingers. The way things are is not the way that they have always been and it doesn't have to always be this way either. Its not difficult to understand.
If you'd asked someone like you in the year AD80 they'd have said that it was inconceivable that slavery wouldn't exist. If you'd asked your equivalent in the 1200's whether the Pope and the Catholic church would still be supreme in a thousand years they'd have looked at you like you had steaming dogsh*t in your mouth, of course it would. Its the most powerful institution on the planet. Popes can crush kings.
You only see what's in front of you and fail to grasp that if everything was what it looked like then we wouldn't need to investigate anything. Science would be completely pointless. Philosophy, completely pointless. History, completely pointless. The social sciences, completely pointless. You don't seem to grasp that things are constantly changing and the way in which they change is a direct result of the balance of power at any given time. The way we see things is also conditioned by the way things are structured. If you live in a slave society then you think slave societies are perfectly normal. If you live in a totalitarian state with an absolute monarch then you believe that that is totally normal.
Growing as an intellectual being is taking a step back and looking at things in perspective. Understanding that things didn't and don't have to be this way, they just are because that's how things panned out. Things don't have to stay this way but changing it is going to require some work, intellectual work, moral work and personal sacrifice.

Ok so what is your vision then? How do we get to this utopia, which currently does not exist?

Having a government that doesn't set up the rules so that disabled people can't help but fail to meet them thus resulting in their death, suicide and misery? Its not difficult is it?
