Re: Any Physicists On Here?
A true physicist would offer responses based on assumptions about the myriad possibilities.

Please
A pooh doesnt " HIT"
a pooh would simply Collide & deflect therefore altering the trajectory on its journey

If it was a bit loose though, wouldn't it just splatter against the side of the bowl and stick?

The same velocity as if not moving. Einstein's observations about relativity dictate that the bowl and poo are static relative to each other. The same is true of lateral velocity as the arse was moving at the same velocity as the bowl. Could be talking shyte tho!

Re: Any Physicists On Here?
To calculate velocity, divide distance traveled by the time it took to travel that distance and add direction. If one's position does not change,velocity is zero. Running in place does not change your position even if you are moving fast. Your velocity will be zero.

Pooing on a train requires great accuracy Ron as you need to be either positioned precariously on a bridge as it goes past or train surfing. Better to try to go inside a train should the occasion arise and preferably in a toilet cubicle. Max's advice about relative velocity does not mean that you should try running on the spot during the act.

Although if you did run on the spot it might help with Rons chronic constipation.Omygawd wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 2:39 pmPooing on a train requires great accuracy Ron as you need to be either positioned precariously on a bridge as it goes past or train surfing. Thanks, I will certainly try if it helps Ron's constipation.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 2:43 pmAlthough if you did run on the spot it might help with Rons chronic constipation.Omygawd wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 2:39 pmPooing on a train requires great accuracy Ron as you need to be either positioned precariously on a bridge as it goes past or train surfing. Re: Any Physicists On Here?
I'm not a physicist, but consider yourself standing still, at what velocity are you moving? Obviously the answer is 0, but you're on a planet rotating at 1,000 miles an hour orbiting around the sun at 67,000 miles an hour, rotating through our galaxy at 490,000 miles an hour. As you can see your velocity can't be all 3 so you have to apply einsteins theory of special relativity

Re: Any Physicists On Here?
Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving
And revolving at 900 miles an hour.
It's orbiting at 19 miles a second, so it's reckoned,
The sun that is the source of all our power.
Now the sun, and you and me, and all the stars that we can see,
Are moving at a million miles a day,
In the outer spiral arm, at 40,000 miles an hour,
Of a galaxy we call the Milky Way.
Our galaxy itself contains a hundred billion stars;
It's a hundred thousand light-years side to side;
It bulges in the middle sixteen thousand light-years thick,
But out by us it's just three thousand light-years wide.
We're thirty thousand light-years from Galactic Central Point,
We go 'round every two hundred million years;
And our galaxy itself is one of millions of billions
In this amazing and expanding universe.

Re: Any Physicists On Here?
Gravity will have accelerated it at 9.81 metres per second squared (or 32 feet ...). With a ‘terminal velocity’ of about 97mph.
This is important to know in calculating ‘splash-back’.
