I think that you are drastically overestimating my opinion and vote fella. If peoples view were listened to we would be out of the EU by now.
Only one reason we're not out of the EU and that reason is the tory party. Make them pay for it at the polls.
See you say this as a Labour voter. I'm not getting in to an argument with you but if all parties had worked together, as per how the constituencies voted, we might well be out of the EU now but party politics kicked in. Everything that was put forward the opposition was against, as per any other political issue.
Absolutely, if they had all worked together, we would certainly be more advanced.

Now, whose fault is it that there was no cross party negotiations over this? Come on, you’re so nearly there.

I'm not one eyed or a supporter of either party like you. I don't care. Get it?

Come on, you're really close with this. Who had the power to establish cross party committees to delegate with the EU on this? You can do it, I know it!

I just don’t know how anyone can have looked at these buffoons over the last few years and said to themselves. They are good, I really want to go to a polling station and vote for them. Give them a job, power, money. It’s bizarre. I like Lisa Nandy and Jess Philips, I like Mark Francois. I can’t think of many others. Those three have one thing in common. They are commoners. Parliament needs to be flattened and all power returned to the local community.

Thor wrote: Thu Oct 31, 2019 2:09 pm Labour is as divided over Europe as any other. The sad thing his steptoe is a brexiteer but he so scared of his own shadow and his hard left momentum friends he's too scared to say what he actually believes now that he's leader. Go back through his history and it's clear he wants out of the eu, just not now cos it does not fit his parties agenda.
I don't know why Corbyn has done many of the things he has done but in terms of the Leave/Not Leave thing, I am the same as him in that I have always been extremely critical of the EU. My opposition to Brexit, however has always been that when and how we leave is not merely academic. Its actually quite important and the Tory party, who were always going to be the ones orchestrating both our divorce and our future relationships, scare the living sh*t out of me. Anyone who believes for a minute that if the Tories are returned with a majority that our NHS isn't screwed and that workers rights aren't for the chop then quite frankly I think you're stark raving mad. The architecture of government for the next 20+ years will be of a hard-right, neo-thatcherite design.

Err hello, I've not decided who to vote for yet. I dont like the deal boris has negotiated. I wouldn't want the nhs sold off or further privatisation which labour started off incidentally. So I need to see what's on offer

I need to see what's on offer first. Secondly I'm not sure any of the Herbert's in parliament are able to deliver that either.

Rather odd choice of options, nothing there for the hundreds of thousands who will vote tactically due to the circumstances in their constituency. Yet there is for the SNP and the DUP, now we have a couple of regular boarders from north of the border, but from memory I don't think either would vote that way. As for the DUP I don't know of any on here in a position to vote for them.

Leaving out the Greens is a very London-centric thing to do, down here we have a Green MP and many Green councilors.

I am surprised that our new Admin left out the Greens. He was a strong supporter of XR recently.

Must have been an oversight on his part.

The election is going to be a really interesting vote.

Will the youth mobilise again and vote (generally against the tories)? Will the turnout be high (tends to favour labour)? Or will the apathy play into tory hands, plus will Brexit split traditional party lines and what does that do for voting in the regions.

This will be an election like no other in the past 2 generations. I'm sure Boris will get the most votes, but will he get enough - and will Labour get enough to stop him?
