Can see where Klopp is coming from but highlights how the big clubs don't give a monkies about the domestic cups these days.

It looked like to me with the schedule they have there isn't a gap to play it in. Dont forget they have the club world cup or whatever its called to play in.
The league should really help them as they are repose ting the league and country.

Eleven games in one month is absolutely crazy. It could be really stressful for the players playing so many games in so short
a time scale. Even if all the players are super fit, the impact on their bodies will damage them.

Laughable to suggest Liverpool couldn't fulfil this fixture, fuss over nothing. Usual Scouse whinges.

These are professional footballers. They should be able to play alright. It's not as thought they have other full time jobs to do.Chicken Dhansak wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 7:53 pm Eleven games in one month is absolutely crazy. They should try playing double bankers like we used to as a kid playing in the Sunday League. Seriously though they must be super fit should be able to manage it.

So using your hypothesis, a professional boxer should be able to have two bouts in a week. That sounds as crazy as your comment above. Pro athletes of whatever persuasion have physical limits.bobo66 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 11:55 amThese are professional footballers. They should be able to play alright. Looks like they will be playing the games simultaneously, first team in wherever the WCC is being held and a youth team in the league cup.

Re: Liverpool might pull out of league cup
With the number of players Liverpool have they could probably put out on any day a second and third team almost as good as the first team. Is this ‘politics’ so that if they lose this or any other game in that period he can say ‘I warned u about the schedule’.
