Who will you be voting for?
Am interested to see in a straw poll what peoples voting intentions are, and then will re run this poll prior to the election to see if the electioneering made any difference

In true Tower Hamlets tradition, the Corbynists get five votes each.

Surprised Adz' poll seems as close as it is, bearing in mind most on this board seem to lean heavily to the left...

Re: Who will you be voting for?
I have no faith in the system what so ever but the prospect of a Tory government will probably always be sufficient to motivate me to vote for the least worst option and that'll be Labour. I will never understand how someone can vote Tory. It seems a tacit admission that the poor/vulnerable are scum and deserve to be tormented whilst the least good amongst us, those who would gladly bleed an essential public service dry and to hell with the social consequences are showered with sycophantic reverence and tribute.

I believe the answer is because a fair few people aren’t all that bright.

Re: Who will you be voting for?
No it probably comes down to the fact we are here on this planet for a short time and so people want to do the best they can and earn as much as they can so as to have the best life they can.
Labour wants to stop upward movement and aspiration and the tories want to encourage it. I guess that’s a big big factor in people’s decisions.

All I can say is I am glad there is an option for others. I can covertly vote for the BNP but without giving the game away.

You seem to be obsessed with money.Thor wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 7:56 am No it probably comes down to the fact we are here on this planet for a short time and so people want to do the best they can and earn as much as they can so as to have the best life they can.

Tories wanting to encourage upward movement is the funniest thing I’ve ever read on here.

Not sure I need as much money as I can earn but if I was getting paid in retirement what I was paid in my job every month I could retire quite happily.

Re: Who will you be voting for?
Not voting.
This last few years has proven to me that they are all a bunch of self serving tossers who have ignored a previous public vote.
I just hope that a lot of current MPs lose their seat and place on the gravy train.

Re: Who will you be voting for?
So why are the Equality and Human Rights Commission investigating Labour? The only other party to ever be investigated is the BNP!!!!!!
