Abu Bakr el Baghdadi

Post by Disoriented »

Gone. Extinguished. No more.

Was he simply a Jihadi figurehead, or have the Yanks cut the head off the Isis Hydra?

A senior Turkish official has told AFP that Baghdadi only arrived at his location 48 hours before the raid.

Nice place for him to go,on holiday. :P

Well Trump would say that wouldn't he and of course he was there to witness it at the time of happening.......as if !!
From all accounts, the army dogs were the only ones close enough to see what actually happened in that tunnel and no interviews with them yet !!
Glad the dogs came through this ok with just one apparently injured and from all accounts, that dog should be ok after hospital care.
Good propaganda for Trump to try to sway attention from the Ukraine business.
Typical right wing reaction to this in the US with much personal praise for Trump himself, yet when Bin Laden was taken out when Obama was President, no praise there for the President from the Rednecks, just disbelief with resentment, plus conspiracy theories that it never really happened and that Bin Laden was alive and well or had died years before !!

Bin laden did die 11 years prior to his acclaimed death as reported on Pakistan tv and media outlets at the time. It just didn't fit the american agenda.

Remember how they hanged Saddam with a full TV execution? And they apparently took bin laden aboard a ship and tossed him over the side. Yeah ok, whatever. I personally believe the Pakistan media.

Look it up and you will see.

It’s almost like he’s got another election coming up that he wants to win. Same thing happened with Obama with Bin Laden.

Nice of them to get this supposed info on him just as they’re pulling out of the region 🙄

Well said. Iraq was such a nice place before we removed that awfully nice man, Saddam Hussein, wasn’t it. He was awfully kind to the Kurds and fellow middle eastern nations too.

Well the Kremlin have released a presser pouring cold water on his death saying they never helped with the operation like trump claimed, even possibly denying the event happened. Here’s a quote of what was said.

'We are unaware of any alleged assistance to the flying of U.S. aviation into the airspace of the Idlib de-escalation zone during this operation,' Konashenkov was quoted by RIA as saying.

Bit of a weird refusal to engage with what was actually being referred to. Iraq wasn't a utopia and there was some horrendous oppression which should never have been tolerated, but until our (the West's) bungled involvement, it wasn't overrun by an extremist death cult which exported terrorism.

That was kicked off by our pals the Saudis and Wahhabism, temporarily forgotten when it was that we invaded Saudi Arabia to sort that all out?
