Red_Army wrote: Sun Oct 20, 2019 5:57 pm It would be interesting to know how many of these boarders go to games regularly. I honestly have no idea how anyone can be unhappy with the football side of things at the club over the past 18 months if they have been going to games. This is the best time to be an Orient supporter in my lifetime and that includes 13/14 and 05/06.
I have a season ticket. The football was great until January time. Then it was scrappy with some good moments. This season has been shocking.
If you think this is shocking then you must have very high standards. You should go away. It's a great time to be an Orient fan.

Winning the league was indeed a good moment.

Only two votes yeesh and that's probably SF and their alias account

Only saw the result after coming out of Silverstone, still in shock at Alabi on the scoresheet

Not at all. I've made no comment on the quality of football. I'm talking about the experience of following Orient.

All the negatives remarks from Apple Wumble, ComeOnYouOs, gshaw and the rest of us are all tongue in cheek comments. We all want the O's to win and it's as simple as that

I voted for Byways1 who in my opinion is by far the clear winner . For example we win 4-0 and not a peep from him . He'll pop up the next time we lose .

Yesterday, we even played a centre half at right back which made the performance even better.

I asked how they played at half time and the replies I got were ‘solid’. That isn’t ‘playing well’.

Your opinion is invalidated by the fact you can't tell which players are actually on the pitch. Pipe down Spurs boy.

This thread is defamatory. It suggests Leyton Orient fans are upset their team won big, and by default, it suggests they want their team to lose.

My name is the first name on the list. I have been supporting this team for 53 years, have travelled the length and breath of this country following them, over that 53 yrs, and for any two bit poster to suggest i dont want my team to win, or that im disappointed if they do win is plain wrong and libellous, and it is damaging to my reputation among friends colleagues , & business associates , by strongly suggesting something which is clearly untrue

I have rang up a friend of mine who is a solicitor, and have made an appointment to see him later this afternoon .

Upon his recommendations, I shall be issuing a writ, to the person who is responsible for this defamatory publication.

i would suggest that the owner of this forum might think about removing it promptly, thus mitigating, to some extent, the damage it is causing , though obviously I have screenshots of it all.

as a footnote.....The rules of the forum state quite clearly that libellous content will not be tolerated, and yet time and time again, libellous content is allowed on the forum.

Think you need both a chill pill and a sensible pill.

Presumably the first thing the solicitor will tell you is it's not possible to libel someone whose identity is unknown and cannot be traced back to a real person.
