If he said that in the afternoon he was definitely p*ssed, if he said it this morning he was probably p*ssed.

When the deal fails on Saturday, mp's will send Johnson back to Brussels with a request for an extention, and guess what...it will be granted

If it looks like not getting through parliament, Boris will offer Indyref 2 to the SNP and they'll bite his hand off for it.

Why?
Because despite what they say the EU don't want the blame for a no deal and the chaos that will create.

Now stop asking questions and Mod more.

Ok so Boris was mandated to get a deal or be forced to push for the benn extension. He got his deal, he’s done his bit, now it goes before parliament who could reject the deal, I believe they will and should do so. Now if that happens as he’s secured a deal, they surely can’t ask him to go and get an extension, is this clever play by Boris?

Looks like we will now be leaving with no deal. Looks like Boris got what he wanted all the time, now is this the cunning plan I referred to previously or is there something else up his sleeve?

I’m intrigued how Johnson’s “new” deal is any better than May’s one that was soundly rejected 3 times by remainers and no deal ERG spartans alike. Of course, Official No 10 stenographer Kuennsberg and the Brexit press have been excitedly talking it up as a breakthrough, but it’s basically the same thing except an Irish Sea border rather than a backstop (actually not bad for the Nordies but of course the DUP headbangers will vote against), which the EU offered yonks ago but got rejected as one of May’s red lines.

The vote in HoP tomorrow looks like it will be very close. Surprised the opposition aren’t offering to vote it through with a 2nd referendum proviso, tbh, but as ever Labour seem all over the place on this issue and still stupidly insisting they can pull some unicorns of their own out of the hat, whilst it suits the Libs and Nats to posture as Remainiac idealists to pick up eventual GE votes.

I think most folk are just sick of it and want closure (not that they’ll get it if we leave, because all the subsequent FTA horse-trading will go on for years).

If you care to read the govts own literature you will find the additional tax that will be levied upon anything imported from the EU from Nov 1 should there be no deal. Additionally you will find every single item and/or variant of that item has a different code and will need to be listed as such in case of checks. Anybody who thinks this will make for smooth and swift checking and no increase in cost to the consumer is living in cloud cuckoo land. You're all entitled to your Remain/Leave viewpoint, but it's going to hit people in the pocket methinks.

This deal is probably as bad if it not worse than mays deal. We’ve been sold down the river once more.

I just haven't got involved with anything other than football threads. Just thought both sides would find the info interesting.

No mention of the savings by not paying the £350m ( before rebates etc) each week to the EU?

Precisely, if they achieve Brexit, we will all exist on a diet of turnips ( they grow quite well in the UK and are fairly nutritious if you eat enough of them )

Not the end PW, but it will almost certainly see an increase in prices I would think. How did I vote? I voted remain, but accept the result. We will no doubt survive, but it will be a bumpy road for a bit, nobody has a crystal ball but we will know in a few years whether or not things have worked out well.

Super Saturday in HoP today, and a big Remoaners march outside too. I reckon Johnson’s deal might just squeak over the line with the help of enough Labour Leave constituency MPs defying their whip, but the latest Benn/Letwin amendment will pass too, so that the whole thing continues to drag on stinking up the country regardless.

Quite ironic how serial liar Johnson has done a u-turn on what is effectively May’s deal - but with the DUP stitched up after he told them he’d never sell them out.
