Having worked for the Party for 50 years doesn't give you licence to plot against and continually bad mouth the twice democratically elected leader of the party. If you don't like him or his politics at least have the decency to argue about political issues instead of hiding behind cowardly smears. Those smear tactics are the MO of Stalinists who actually was a dictator even though he was everbody in the Wests' Uncle for a bit.dOh Nut wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2019 2:32 pmIf people don’t like The way Labour deal with a problem, then the party line is they should f.off.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2019 11:55 am My gangs bigger than your gang. Good political debate from the Red Tory faction. For once can youse no argue the politics instead of instantly wheeling out the smears.
Ellmans local party don't like her politics and if as she contends it's about antisemitism than why did they wait 22 years?
People who have worked for the party for over half a century count for nothing. Little short of a dictatorship.

A new, softer politics. The truth is Max anybody who has a view not liked by the leadership they automatically become plotters. Not allowed to bad mouth the big boss. Dictatorship Max, pure and simple. A party with no place for dissenting opinions. She’s not the first, nor will she be the last. This tough uncompromising stance is gathering momentum.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2019 2:37 pmHaving worked for the Party for 50 years doesn't give you licence to plot against and continually bad mouth the twice democratically elected leader of the party. You clearly don't understand the difference between having a dissenting opinion and expressing it within the party structures and participating in an organised campaign of falisification. Therefore, I'm not going to discuss it further with you as you are wasting my time.dOh Nut wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2019 2:50 pmA new, softer politics. Re: Labour Watch
Any Labour mp that votes for the Pm's terrible deal on Saturday, should have the whip taken away, and never be allowed to stand as a Labour candidate ever again IMO
This deal is an awful deal for working people ( & almost everyone else)
I hope someone tables an amendment to revoke article 50, and we just stay in the EU, which is the best deal of the lot

Can you give a brief summary why it's an awful deal for working people. Well said Max. Let me help simplify it. Jewish MPs are being hounded out and anti-semitism is still rife in the Labour Party.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2019 3:00 pmYou clearly don't understand the difference between having a dissenting opinion and expressing it within the party structures and participating in an organised campaign of falisification. The confidence of Jewish voters in voting for the Corbyn junta is shot.
Happy to provide the clarification.

Do you actually talk to members of the Jewish community? I do.
Do you actually listen to their views. I do.
When you decide to respect how THEY feel, then come back and contribute in a grown up way rather than throw poorly constructed abuse about.

Re: Labour Watch
Fair enough - I didn’t think you did.
Without going into specifics, part of my role in a government office is about inclusion and promoting prosperity amongst different community groups.
I also have a number of Jewish friends. They have all deserted Labour and articulate strongly why they have done so. It is their view, which cannot be subjugated by the blinkered, narrow-minded views of others who think they can be a spokesman for a community they know nothing about.

I think that last sentence is it in a nutshell.
When you think of labour's founding vision and beliefs to where it is now, it's like day and night.

That the Labour Party are being investigated, that long standing loyal Labour Party members are resigning, that senior Jewish people have spoken out. It’s all a plot, nothing is true. If you believe that the. It’s not worth discussing. What it is is a fecking disgrace.
