FA Cup Bye
As Bury won’t be in first round, last team out gets a bye into second round. The club that receives the bye will also be awarded the £36,000 prize money for a first-round winner. Think I’d rather Orient played, ideally at home.

Re: FA Cup Bye
I'll take the £36k thanks.
That's pure profit with no outlay. No stadium opening, no travelling, nothing. And we get a week off as supporters.

I suppose I might be nursing a bit of a sore head after seeing Squeeze the night before, so could be for the best if it did happen.Tent Keague wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2019 8:18 pm I'll take the £36k thanks.

Where are you seeing Squeeze?
I saw them at the 100 Club on Oxford St and they were excellent.

Indigo at O2. Never been there so don’t know what it will be like. Support is Heaven 17, which will be interesting.
Seen them a fair few times down the years. Best was at Oslo in Hackney, really small and intimate and very hot!
Worst was at Brentwood festival where we had to leave to preserve our hearing! PA was knackered and sound really bad and distotted.
Will be back at Indigo at O2 for FA Cup Second Round day to see From The Jam & The Vapors.

The indigo is alright actually, nice and intimate, sound should be ok due to the set up of the venue. Hope you enjoy it.RientO wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2019 9:02 pmIndigo at O2. Never been there so don’t know what it will be like. Support is Heaven 17, which will be interesting.

Re: FA Cup Bye
Sure I will enjoy it. Bonus that tubes run all night nowadays. When I saw Charlatans at bowling alley in O2, almost missed last train home. Fortunately for me, last eastbound train is a little later than last westbound. Not so good for my friends though...Thor wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2019 9:08 pmThe indigo is alright actually, nice and intimate, sound should be ok due to the set up of the venue.
