Post reported.
Considering I'm a happy clapper & you are critical about virtually everything the club does, you throwing out negative to me isn't going to stick.
Do you report everyone who Disagrees with you?

He'd want a big bung of wages so no this wouldn't be on.Think he'd leave Aston Villa for a lower wage?

Re: JOHN TERRY
Upminster - Eloquently written. Your words and sentiments are admirable. Have you considered a late career change to join a christian ministry ? (Whoops that could be racist....... a moslem ministry perhaps ?)UpminsterO wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2019 7:35 am The conjecture starts -It's ok for me I just either read or ignore.
I remain very sceptical about the positive effect these football club forums boards have on the end product of the welfare of any club: on this forum we have;
1. We have posters when disagreeing ends in abusive words.
2. The extreme personal views on the staff and some players is extensive at times and in this case the potential staff - we gone with Adams being an alleged thug to a Sunday school choir boy destined to the Christian heaven and some stuff written on other applicants were not very productive to say the least.
3. Now we have this guy who we know had some non football alleged things occur in his life - which questions his character by some - but as a footballer rather exceptional.
I trust whoever gets the gig be it him or another the forum board here remains reasonable upbeat moving forward - because we the fans have an important role to play to the well being of the entity of Lofc, which is of absolute paramount importance to us all.

Good comment Byways - had me laughing!Byways1 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2019 8:40 amDream on.koppio wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2019 2:56 am Has anyone had the thought that our new Manager / Head Coach could be John Terry? Consider:
(1) Historic and close relationship between ML and Dean Smith - negotiations may have been with Smith's consent,
(2) Terry bought a Surrey mansion earlier this year and has probably been commuting to Birmingham for work leaving the wife and kids in Surrey.
(3) Within reason, salary would not be an issue. Terry may be keen to be a No. 1 rather than an "Assistant".
(4) Ambitious to forge a career as a football team manager so we may be a good "start" in his mind.
Yeah he is bound to chuck a well paid assistant managers job at Villa to join a club that can’t afford to repair a leaky roof.

Terry would surely not leave Villa for anything lower, than Championship Managers job.

Was Justin a ‘yes’ man?Beradogs wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2019 7:08 am Obviously a bit of a history but would be an unbelievably good choice therefore no. With his contacts we would get quality loan signings for starters. Everyone who has ever played with him says he is a born leader. We won’t get him because orient is a “family club” plus he would want to bring in his own people + he would probably ignore Lings advice in about 2 minutes. No, we will find some yes man and continue as we are for years to come.

Irrespective of the new managers past, or indeed present indiscretions, they'd fade into the ether should he take us up the league with good attacking football and a tightened defence.
Football succeses creates selective and short memories in a lot of people I'm afraid.

I can't argue with that but I'd still feel very disappointed if it's John Terry.RealLoughtonO wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 8:43 am Irrespective of the new managers past, or indeed present indiscretions, they'd fade into the ether should he take us up the league with good attacking football and a tightened defence.
