Re: Derek Adams
I know Maxwell has a jolly up from time to time but his description of Derek Adams in the above I can somehow relate to. Don't ask me why but I can see a bit of a 'funny' character there. But if he's appointed I will of course be backing him 100%.

Re: Derek Adams
It’s what he does with the team that counts and whether he can motivate the current group and maybe attract better players etc. He did a good job at Plymouth as far as I know and he sounds the best of the bunch so far.

Re: Derek Adams
As long as he doesn't go full Glenn Hoddle and start trying to get the players to believe that the power of prayer can heal any injury and arrest any poor form then I can live with a holier than though tosspot in charge, as long as he wins games. If he talked sh*t about disabled people I'd also kick him in the b*ll*cks.

Not overly bothered by his personal beliefs tbh - if he gets the job done I will be perfectly happy.

Most important thing is that he got them winning. Besides let's face it, if there is one thing that needs strengthening, it's our defending!Lofctillwedie wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 9:40 pm Plays boring football apparently according to Plymouth fans defensive home and away

Where did I say anything about his religion? Nowhere. So shut up.UpminsterO wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 9:32 pm Amazed at some of the character statements on here
Max - what is your character religious beliefs and how do you fit into society and interface with everyone and how did or do you perform in a work environment- don't both answering I do not care.
We had people on here saying RE did not dress like a manager when he wore that baseball cap in a interview and on the sidelines in a match
We had others commenting on DW cloths when he was manager making remarks about top shop and the social demographics of the quality of his suite
We had some years ago people moaning about the Italians English - I saw on here a few months ago he just got promoted as a manager
We have so many rubbish statements that have zero intellect and go way beyond anything to do with football and winning matches.
Why don't you grow up and keep comments to people you have never met socialised or been employment with to zero
For the record I am not a Christian dislike bigots and don't drink ever or do coke etc
I mean look at any of the successful managers on a Jung analysis where do you think they register - who would care about anything as long as they are decent and show a reasonable amount of tolerance and how would any of us know that on any of the potential applicants - what based on heresay conjecture or gossip
Have a look on Google for the fights he's had as a manager, his divisive nature and the time he punched one of his own players.
Those are just the times when he went completely Tonto and made the papers. Every week he was at it when managing Ross County. We can do much better than him.

Re: Derek Adams
I'm not bothered about his religion per se.... but if you believe everything is god's will, what's the point of trying to do anything? His will be done - and all that.

Re: Derek Adams
After reading that Maxy I've changed my mind about us hiring Derek Adams . A manager who punched one of his own players is not the man for us .Max B Gold wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 9:53 pmWhere did I say anything about his religion? Nowhere.
