Well done to the team, am very pleased with the win & the fact that we kept a clean sheet. A win always improves a Sat night.

Not from Croydon it’s not. Took me as long to get from home to north London as it did from north London to Northampton

Re: Northampton (A) Match / Exiles Thread
Went to the game and sat in the main stand with a Northampton supporting former work colleague who is a really nice bloke and his obnoxious brother who spent an hour and a half pre game telling me how Cobblers would be top three if they had defended a bit better this season and we wouldn't be able to live with them. It was nice afterwards to point out that they looked more like a bottom three team today. Thought we did OK and Marv looked the part at Right Back when he came on, Wilkinson gets better with every game and Brophy was more than decent.
Great Goal and the support behind the goal looked really good

Exactly what I had when I got in. Rare Sirloin, with a jacket potato and cold beer. The result made all taste even better.

Had a good session in the WMC.
Could have drove to Northampton from Mk in about 15 minutes but prefer to spend my money on some good ale until I await this brilliant manager we are going to appoint l

It will be interesting to hear from the self proclaimed “ experts” on here about how it is that Matt Harrold is not good enough to start!![]()
Can only imagine how much better off we'd be had he been playing ahead of Alabi.

How strange to be relishing feasting on a body part of an animal that's had its throat slit for you to eat it & they say vegans are weird.

Re: Northampton (A) Match / Exiles Thread
Although im not vegan or even vegetarian , I stopped eating red meat in 1987, which was the first time we the public learned that mad cow disease was a thing.
i did a lot of research on red meat around that time, & its reasonably common knowledge that red meat, and particularly beef, is carcinogenic, so IMO only a fool would eat it.
Some people seem to feel they're more macho if the eat a " juicy steak".......they'll probably die young
Great result yesterday, thats more enjoyed without a lump of dead cows body

I take it you also do not cross roads because there is a greater risk of premature death if you do? Or never travel by car because that also increases the risk of death?

My original post concerned the game. You chose to take a pop so don't be surprised if you get it back.
Am sure we're all delighted with the result regardless of what we ate on Sat eve.
