We do not leave with no deal, we leave on wto rules. This will only mean problems if forms are not filled out properly. It is not in Europe's interest to cause to many problems, otherwise our companies will obtain there goods from elsewhere, or the ports that are causingt he problems are changed( the dutch and Belgium ports has spare capacity if need be).

With the world now starting to look seriously as if going into recession, as per Sweden's disastrous figures yesterday, now is not the time to play games.

Jfi - Sweden is seen as a bellwether for the world economy as it has the most open trade economy in the world.

Whatever happens, the EU is in trouble financially and recession will bring lots of issues to a head.

WTO 'rules' are just a loose minimum framework, nothing like the comprehensive free trade agreement we have with the EU, and by extension all of the third party countries which have agreed deals with the EU now. All of that goes out of the window.

Whatever the outcome the politicians from all parties elected will carry on getting paid - they love the attention and the pampering of their own egos be it in parliament or in the media

All this prolonged debate and posturing by them is a typical British failure of the style they have developed.

They are a total disgrace with reckless behaviour that would get most people fired from their employment.
