Mo Farah’s Coach
Alberto Salazar, banned for four years for ‘multiple doping violations’. Of course, the fact that Mo had all his success between 2011-2017 whilst Salazar was his coach is in no way connected with the frequency of his coach’s transgressions such as ‘trafficking testosterone and tampering with anti-doping samples’ to create negative tests.
Mo of course has never failed a drugs test.
Intriguing, in the same way as ‘Sir’ Bradley Wiggins and the tale of the jiffy bag is.

Re: Mo Farah’s Coach
That's the sad thing about doping, all the winners come under suspicion. If Mo is clean he'll always be suspected. If he isn't, he's lost nothing.

Re: Mo Farah’s Coach
Personally, I didn’t think Mo Farah was suspected of potentially cheating enough, especially by the BBC who are sycophantic. At the great north run recently everyone’s name was printed on their vests. Of course. On Farah’s vest was just. Sir Mo. Brendon and Cram were pulling each other off under the table as per usual. Starts training with Salazar a year before the 2012 games. Before that won nothing of note. Innocent until proven guilty and all that.

Re: Mo Farah’s Coach
Depends what you call "of note". At the point he joined Salazar he was already Europe's fastest man over 5k; held many records and had already been named athlete of the year.
Unfortunately Mo will probably suffer some form of collateral damage as a result of this.
Being an athlete, searching for those small gains can sometimes lead them to stray across the line - even if inadvertently. Some fairly common stuff, for colds, can trip these athletes up. Its a very fine line.

I don't think Salazar got a 4 year ban because an athlete he coached took a cold remedy

Re: Mo Farah’s Coach
I saw someone at the back of the pack in that race who just had BIG DAVE on his chest and I bet that wasn't his real name either. It's a scandal.Beradogs wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 7:25 am Personally, I didn’t think Mo Farah was suspected of potentially cheating enough, especially by the BBC who are sycophantic. At the great north run recently everyone’s name was printed on their vests. Re: Mo Farah’s Coach
Mo has always failed to answer basic questions about his relationship with this drug cheat. The noise is getting louder. It is very hard to not be suspicious about his achievements now alongside Jiffy Bag Wiggo and Va Va Froome.
Worrying.

Re: Mo Farah’s Coach
What is the point. Just let them take whatever they want and stop all this nonsense of trying to get around the rules.
