Apart from opening 10 or so mins, start of second half, and end of game, the Orient team seemed very flat and lacking leadership or shape.
In the 3 spells when the team seemed more motivated, they looked capable of destroying the opposition
They started great, but faded badly. It looked like a team playing with a lack of leadership and a lack of a game plan. Players didn't seem to know where there team mates were going to run.
Also, the crowd were very flat for most of the game. This seems to have been the case most games this season. It's more like going to the theatre than a football match this season.
Not sure if the crowd are reflecting what's on the pitch or vice versa, but whatever the cause, it helps our opponents as Orient is not a place to fear coming to.
It seems to reflect on the pitch as some of the best results for Orient are at away games.
I'm not blaming any one or any group, simply staying my observations.

Who would have thought that the crowd at a struggling side would be more subdued than normal, eh.

Surprised nobody has picked up on what an important factor Jobi was. He is obviously greatly missed by this season's team.

I think you may be right.West Side Story wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2019 3:08 pm Surprised nobody has picked up on what an important factor Jobi was. He is obviously greatly missed by this season's team.
I dont think this team is far short of being a decent side. I think what Jobi brought in terms of leadership is what's missing this season.
