Perhaps that’s what’s putting him off his game?

A keeper behind them that refuses to come and help them by claiming anything, a non existent midfield in front of them that offers absolutely no protection and full backs that fail to stop crosses coming in.

Plus they’re being made to be the playmakers because none of our 3 central midfielders demand the ball off them.
Simply the goalkeeper is under pressure because the defense can't defend. The defense are under pressure as the midfield offers no protection. The goalkeeper is not helping the defense.

It is not one part of the team that is the issue.

Other than Coulson, the body language of that defence after their 2nd was a disgrace. I don’t rate Marvin as much as many on here - I think Happe is a lot better but I felt sorry for him today. Whilst Ling was too busy closing down their left back, Marvin had to constantly come out and cover him, getting roasted for pace. Widdowson on the otherside was playing far too forward and left Happe exposed. The defenders in the box are a shambles.

To get the best out of everyone at the club, they need to be playing 433. They did that in the 2nd half today, finally.

Also, Port Vale fans on the way to Leyton station said Orient are “hands down, the worst team we’ve played this season”

They allowed Josh Wright to score two headers - worst team we've played this season defensively IMO.

Yeah, they also said it was their worst game. Very worrying.

Not the first set of fans to make such comments.

We all know it. Just need to hang in there, pick up a few points along the way and pray Lingy gets the right man in sooner rather than later.

Hopefully there isn’t one. But I’m prepared to wait more than 1 week to ensure we get the appointment right.

But that’s the thing - it hasn’t been just a week. With the appointment being ‘interim’, they have surely been looking for months.

You would imagine so.

I’m still not going to whine because a replacement hasn’t been announced 8 days after Ross stepped down.

Fair enough. Save your whining for every Josh Wright contribution (or non).

8 days after the temporary manager or nearly 4 months stepped down.

100% correct.
The bloke was a caretaker manager therefore a replacement should have been lined up when it was obviously going tits up.
Should have been in charge yesterday.
