Re: Highlights
Two bits of real quality from Wilkinson there with the cross and shot. As per other posts needs to be utilised in a way that allows him to express that rather then just being a target man.
None of the CBs come out of that particularly well. Happe gets done for the first, Marvin poor clearance for the second (could Coulson do more to stop it on the way through?) and again Coulson poor clearance for the third.
Love Wright's passion with his goals, perhaps more suited as Captain material than Coulson going forward?

Re: Highlights
Their first goal, was that not a foul against Happe in the build up?
Their second goal, giving a CB freedom to slot home from 6 yards from a corner is unforgivable.
Wilkinson’s goal, great strike
Their third goal, even better strike
Wright’s two goals, why does he get a load of stick on here? He’s a decent player and I think he’s top scorer atm

Re: Highlights
Ling proved his class.again with the control from the cross field ball
Beating his man & getting a great cross into the box ,
Forwards should have got on the end of it.

Re: Highlights
No surprise to see the usual incorrect analysis, our centre halves getting the flak instead of our lack of a midfield.gshaw wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2019 9:42 pm Two bits of real quality from Wilkinson there with the cross and shot. Happe gets done for the first - possibly a free kick but no way that ref was going to give it - but after Brills parry, where the hell is the midfield picking up their players on the edge of the box? It’s the same every f*cking week.
Happe gets outmuscled and loses his man at the corner for the second, no arguments there.
What the hell is Wright doing for the 3rd? Harold and Coulson are scraping away for the ball and Josh jogs outside of his man instead of staying inside him. Idiotic.

Re: Highlights
Ling (and Widdowson) both started really offensively, properly pushed on. (It’s Ling in the box with Wright for the first goal!)
A shame they didn’t keep that up all game.

This.
As for CM it's been the same and will continue to be the same until we sign that "enforcer" we've been missing since last summer.

Re: Highlights
Funny old angle aint it.
The one thing the 3rd does highlight is just how far Brill can actually dive.
