Re: Dry October
I’m in too, only had a drink three times this year and none since May, got to say I don’t miss it one little bit and that’s speaking as a man who drank every single day, not to excess, but every day none the less.

Re: Dry October
Why just October? If you're worried about your level of alcohol intake maybe youse need to make it permanent.

Re: Dry October
The minimum unit price was an interesting change. But with sales down it seems to be having an impact on consumption. Didn’t realise drugs deaths were rising. Is this coincidence or are some getting their fix elsewhere. Are drugs cheaper than booze?Max B Gold wrote: ↑Thu Sep 26, 2019 12:40 pmBecause minimum price for a unit of alcohol was introduced. Re: Dry October
Gave up the ciggies 27 years ago ( easiest thing I've ever done ) , been a boozer all my adult life and used to drink every day when I was younger , now only drink Friday , Saturday and Sunday's about 4 pints per night , i would find it difficult if not impossible to go dry in October

I'm not worried about my alcohol intake Mr. Gold. Its just that I'd like to read contributions written by sober boarders for an entire month. You're not being realistic. Alcoboardin has been a mainstay of this Board from day one. It's here to stay.FargO wrote: ↑Thu Sep 26, 2019 3:51 pmI'm not worried about my alcohol intake Mr. Gold.
