Re: Kevin Nolan 7/4 favourite
I wasn’t impressed with his last stint here and he hardly set the world alight at Notts Co. IMO he would be a poor choice

100 games as a manager. Decent win rate, got the experience.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2019 6:40 pmI wasn’t impressed with his last stint here and he hardly set the world alight at Notts Co. IMO he would be a poor choice

I think his persona and stature in the game would lend well to the current position of the club.Disoriented wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2019 6:43 pmVery interesting. Would snap him up if he is available for sure.
Would clearly be a good move for him.

Re: Kevin Nolan 7/4 favourite
Would be surprised if Nolan gets the gig. Don’t think he endeared himself to some during his previous stint here, albeit one has to recognise that it was his first job and it was in difficult circumstances. It always felt like he should make a good manager one day.
Jackett at 22/1 is interesting, effectively that is the odds of a double of him leaving Pompey and then arriving here, so I guess if he does get shown the door at Pompey his odds would shorten significantly.

Re: Kevin Nolan 7/4 favourite
Agree. He was impressive last season and would add steel to the team and the club. He would also need assurances that other club figures would not interfere in team selection, for example.Orient Punxx wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2019 6:50 pmI think his persona and stature in the game would lend well to the current position of the club.Disoriented wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2019 6:43 pmVery interesting. Heard Nolan came in to the 15-16 star man dinner pissed out of his head and started insulting the youngsters. Hope he stays away.EastDerehamO wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2019 6:52 pm Would be surprised if Nolan gets the gig. Got Notts county into the playoffs though and the only Manager at that club in 10 years or so to have lasted a full campaign!dOh Nut wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2019 6:47 pm100 games as a manager.
