Respect Ross for stepping up and giving it a go, and respect him for making the decision he has – perfect timing and the right decision in my book.

Over to ML now, am sure he must have already given it some thought, so one wouldn’t expect it to take an inordinate amount of time to conclude.

I suspect it may have been decided either in his own mind or within the club hierarchy to make the move if Saturday's result didn't go our way.

Where Ross even says in his own words he doesn't see himself as a manager it's pretty clear he didn't feel comfortable in the role. No shame at all in going back to the job that better fits his skills and personality.

Now we need to ensure the right man comes in and give him the backing to improve the squad significantly. If the first 10 performances are put on RE then the next 10 are solely on the owners and Ling.

I suspect Orient will now go on a winning run until the new manager arrives. At the very least, I hope Orient win this weekend for Ross Embleton and he can return to his old role on a relative high. Not sure he was ever going to be the non-interim head coach, but he did step up to the role and gave it his best. Possibly with a easier run of games, he may have kept the role into 2020.

I am pretty sure the new manager has already been sounded out. I would expect an announcement ahead of the Walsall game.

It's incredible that Embleton is now seen as a good bloke that has made a brave decision. You could equally argue that he has done this to take the pressure off himself and he should have stuck at it until he was pushed (unless of course he was pushed).

He's only been in charge for a handful of games. This reminds of the dark days under Bechetti.

He was only ever supposed to be in charge for a limited number of games, so it's nothing like it was under Beelzebub. And also, as someone else said, the gap between Edinburgh's death and a new permanent manager coming in will give the latter a better chance of succeeding.

I reckon 10 games was the first review milestone. Given it's not been going well could've been the case a win or even good draw against Colchester would've pushed the decision back a bit but in the end it was the right time to make the call.
