The self proclaimed 'one of the greatest minds in football' hasn't exactly been brilliant. So many better out there in my opinion, including our current trio coaching the team.
Be patient and give the guys a chance before posting negative and undermining crap like promoting this individual.
Andy I respect your opinion, but have you actually been to a game this season? I ask cos if you think our trio is good enough to coach and manage you are seriously deluded. RE is quite clearly out of his depth, there is a lack of leadership which JE brought to the team with direction, leadership and set up, all things that Ross lacks right now.

I’m not advocating Sol, but action needs to be taken cos we are sinking, yet with the right man in charge this team is capable of challenging for the play offs, leave it too long and you can forget about that.

Stop being a club stooge and say what you believe.

Campbell got 7 wins, 10 draws and 8 defeats from a side whose budget must have been among the lowest in the League.

If after 25 games we have won 7, drawn 10, lost 8, people would be kissing Embletons arse all day! And that is with a top budget.

Some people have become rather spineless.

I am not looking for a way back in thanks, nor am I anybodys stooge! As for saying what I think, I think you will find that anybody who actually knows me will know I always say what I think. Its a difficult time but let's see where we are at Christmas. Just be patient and give these three a chance.

Too late by then, a new manager then comes in and by time he figures out what's required window is shut. That or Ling runs the show by proxy and a new manager comes in to players he doesn't want.

The parallels to Davis are becoming closer by the day imo.

I thought Ross may decide to step down after yesterday's game but if Saturday's home fixture goes really badly that might be the one where he admits it's not working out.

Another to be Guarantor that replacing Ross means we avoid relegation
What forfeit are you offering if we replace Ross & get relegated anyway ?

Can easily flip that one back on you and ask what guarantee keeping him in post does either? All that can be said for certain is on current form we're on the way back to tinpot land.

Drew away to the team at the top of the leaue , who got an equaliser from a 50/50 penalty
In the last minute
Beat the highest scorers in the league who sit 3rd ,
Missed an opportunity to clear a cross that led to a winner for
the team in 2nd & lost by the odd goal in 3 ,

I am not giving any guarentees ,
I have patience to allow a Season to unfold .

I have some belief that my football club will turn things around,

I dont go all baby rant & throw my toys out of the pram
Because things arent going my way .

I think you & the other doom & gloomers need to read that
Most Famous of poems by Kipling .

* * * * *

If you can keep your head when all about you

    Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,

If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,

    But make allowance for their doubting too;

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,

    Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,

Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,

    And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;

    If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;

If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster

    And treat those two impostors just the same;

If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken

    Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,

Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,

    And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings

    And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,

And lose, and start again at your beginnings

    And never breathe a word about your loss;

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew

    To serve your turn long after they are gone,

And so hold on when there is nothing in you

    Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,

    Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,

If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,

    If all men count with you, but none too much;

If you can fill the unforgiving minute

    With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,

Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,

    And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Last 6 matches form... 23rd :?

The fact we only drew against the worst side in the league at home doesn't really give much weight to the "oh but we've played good sides recently" argument.

Wait to see after 10 games they said, now it's wait until Christmas. Then probably wait until transfer window closes after that?

A shorter quote for you "losing can become a habit". That's where the club is at right now. Did you have that same belief in Davis too?

Stevenage ( the worst team ) in the league drew away to the team 5th in the league on Saturday .

As for Form , Finish 23rd & we will still be a league 2 side

Change the manager & there is STILL some chance we could end up in 24th.

Anyway enough of your drama queen antics

In his short time at Macclesfield Sol demonstrated he has the potential to be a decent lower league manager. I was impressed with his performance there. He clearly understands the game and I dare say has a great many useful contacts within the business. I have little doubt he has the gravitas to bring together a group of players and he has shown he has an understanding of the loss of JE so should be able to cope with that aspect of the role.

No reason for Ling not to at least have a coffee with him and see if he could paddle our canoe up the creek without losing said paddle.

WTF? What are you talking about. You seem to be fighting lots of fires on different fronts and quite frankly not making any headway.
