You could get away with thin squads when loans could come in as required but with the restrictive window now it's absolutely crazy to go into a season with such a thin squad in key areas.

Still love to know if this "top 8 budget" refers to solely player wages or staffing costs more widely as something doesn't add up when you look at the bench today.

Really surprised that this is a Grade 3 tear. When he went off he was barely limping and it didn’t look too bad at all. I tore my hamstring playing tennis back in March and I could barely walk at all yet that was diagnosed as a Grade 2 year.
