Re: Angol injury
As he walked off under his own steam I would think it's not too bad, that said all hamstring injuries need time to heal so I would hazard a guess at a grade one hamstring injury and two to three weeks out.
Whatever it's a real shame because we will miss his pace and quick feet up front.

On average, a pulled hamstring (grade 1) should take from a few days up to 3 weeks to heal. Grade 2 and 3 tears can take months.

Re: Angol injury
Worst thing that can happen is we struggle for goals and he gets rushed back. Hamstrings can keep going if they aren't healed and strengthened properly.

Re: Angol injury
He tweaked his hammy. Done it trying to outsprint Nicky Adams, FFS. Adams won the ball and hit Angol as well but it was definitely hamstring, he started feeling it instantly.

Re: Angol injury
Tackled heavily, looked more like their guy jumped on his foot after the ball had gone from where I was. Should have been a foul but the ref played on as Angol had already won the ball and it went to one of our players, I forget who.

Or more likely that they don't want to give anything away ahead of tomorrow's game.

Re: Angol injury
If your hammy goes you donβt carry on for a few mins like he did. I hope it was just tightening of the muscle, although that would indicate a possible underlying issue in that area that needs attention or that could still turn in to a bigger problem.

Re: Angol injury
Told ya it would be bad news

Now we're going to pay the price for Embleton and Ling taking the easy way out if the Alabi situation. Paper thin squad and it's not even end of September. No loan window to bail us out either.
