WORRIED NOW

Post by bobo66 »

Okay, I know we missed Angol badly last night, but I'm still worried that in the second half even with all the possession and domination that we had, I don't think we created a decent chance. In fact, I don't think their goalkeeper made a save (apart from the penalty) the whole game.

It's difficult to know if it's the manager, or just that the players aren't good enough when we've got the ball and when we haven't. We are missing some quality anywhere on the pitch. Would Jobi make a difference, I'm not sure and he can't play anyway.

Been like that for a while, we get in a position to cross the ball in, but then just pass it back. We are good at passing the ball across the opposing box, but c××p at creating chances in the box.

Wilko came on, and for me, looked good. Hold up play was outstanding. The problem was that he was having to come back into his own half to collect the ball, and because we only played one out and out striker, we didnt have many people in front of him. We looked tidy in spells but aside from the pen, did their keeper make a save?

The bottom line is we are a very average team. And as we stand at the moment the way forward is looking bleak.

I'm pretty sure we have a team that can secure that relegation spot back to the NL which looks to be our level. At least when we won more often there when we weren't drawing 0-0.

That's why we need an experienced manager to try and get the best out of them like JE did.

Should have played two strikers. Although Crewe didnt look that good, we've lost against teams that are 1st and 2nd in the table.

After what we've been through as a club, going back down to the National League is unthinkable .
