Re: Tonight's line up
Sarge (wont happen)
Ling Marv Happe (if he's back but also wont happen) Widdowson
Marsh Gorman Wright
JMD
Dennis Angol
Basically, as long as we don't got the 5-3-2 again, it will be alright by me.

Re: Tonight's line up
I can see Clay coming in given the impact he had off the bench on Saturday.Apple Wumble wrote: βTue Sep 17, 2019 2:40 pm Sarge (wont happen)

I think it will be:
Brill
Ling Ekpiteta Coulson Widdowson
JMD Clay/Gorman Marsh Wright Dennis
Angol
It's good that we have four central midfielders all with a fair chance of starting a game. That's something we haven't had for a while.

Re: Tonight's line up
Can see Ross bottling the decision on centre mids so we have to play one up front at home.

Re: Tonight's line up
That formation is rather lopsided though. I'd either put JMD in for Gorman or go with the lineup from Saturday

Re: Tonight's line up
What you dont believe his Dad got married or that he missed the game to Go to his Dads Wedding ?
Either way a pretty ridiculous thing to be up in arms about.

Re: Tonight's line up
I'm pretty sure you're smart enough to get this.
It's ridiculous that a professional footballer missed a game of football because his dad was getting married. I've never heard of anything like it.

Re: Tonight's line up
Maybe his dad could have chosen a date outside the season. Unreasonable pressure on the young man.
Re: Tonight's line up
As they played 4 at the back, Happe was likely to, be left out, maybe Ross let have the time off for that reason, but I hoped he told him that he can't expect to take Ogie's place on the bench as right tonight. Maybe that, would be good Managment as he does have a resentful player, who travels to Exeter and does not play, but at the same time can't expect to come back straight away.

Re: Tonight's line up
Correct first XI, bench should've had Sotiriou in for Alabi but the love in continues there
Re: Tonight's line up
I agree, looking like our best formation at present. Agree with Alabi, but you know one game he will manage to deliver something and then all will be forgiven.
Crewe are massive favourites for this game for some reason, odds as skinny as 11/10 in places. Not sure I really agree with that, although I expect most of the possession to fall their way.
Nicky Hunt is playing for them, hopefully no long hoofs up front and Angol can beat him for pace.

Re: Tonight's line up
Amazed he's still playing, looked at the veteran stage when he played for us and that was best part of 3 years ago now
